More Freedom Fest pictrures

I got pictures from Jessica and Sarah today from Freedom Fest.  I love love love these slide pictures.  The girls were terrified to go down and I love the looks on their faces.

Splash pad fun

Tonight after dinner I took the girls to meet some friends at a splash pad.  The kids had so much fun.

I bought these bathing suite when I first found out I was having a girl.  I almost forgot about them but they looked so cute.

I love watching Madi take off running with her arms behind her.  So cute!

Freedom Fest

This morning I had my first training session with my trainer!  She was super nice and kicked my booty!!!  I'm really excited to see what I can accomplish with her help!  Scotty decided he wanted to do some shopping!  I hit the jackpot and got some really cute stuff!!  Tonight we went with some friends to Freedom Fest to watch fireworks!
I took the girls on a huge potato sack slide!  They were really nervous but we made it!!  Sarah got some funny pictures I'll have to get from her later!

Next up was pony rides!  I was really shocked that Madi rode on the pony, but she loved it!

We went back to our cars to watch fireworks!

Madi loved them!  Poor girl kept trying to sit in Kenzie's little chair and it kept info over and she would roll out!

It was a fun night and so glad we got to spend it with great friends and kiddos!!!

Birthday dinner

I woke up feeling so refreshed after getting a full nights sleep without any crying interruptions or early morning wake ups from Kenzie!  I went to the gym after Scotty left for work and was the only one there!  I was able to turn my music up loud without my headphones and dance in between sets!  I changed it up a little and did my weights before cardio and I was amazed at the difference!  My weights went up by 20 pounds and I was able to do more sets!
After my workout I went to pick up the girls from my parents house!  The girls had so much fun and passed out the minute we got in the car!!  Tonight we had my birthday dinner!

Sarah, Keith and their kiddos came and Bebe and Papa came too!

Madison shares my love for queso!!!  Scotty had a lemon pound cake made for me and they brought it out and sang happy birthday to me!

Madison didn't want a slice on a plate she wanted to dig into the whole cake!

It was such a fun night and I'm so glad they came to celebrate with me!!!!

Happy Birthday to me!!

31----how in the world am I 31?  When I was little I always thought 30 was sooooo old, and now here I am, a year past it even.  Crazy!  I had a lot of changes last year that have set me up for an amazing year.  I have new amazing strong friendships, less drama and "friends" that weren't really friends, a healthier lifestyle, an amazing family and new goals.  This is going to be the best year yet!!! I am so excited to see what comes in my 31st year!!!  We started the day out with some shopping.  Jessica and her kiddos came over and we all piled in my car and headed to the mall.  Kenzie must not have gotten the memo that on mommy's birthday there is no crying or whining....
It was awful.  That was pretty much how she was the whole time until the last 15 minutes we were there.  We chose to ignore her and continue shopping anyways.  I ended up getting a lot of cute things and I didn't HATE trying on clothes this time.  And for a bonus nothing I bought had an X in front of the size this time.  Sarah met up with us and then we went to lunch at Red Robin.  I kept meaning to take a picture of all of us but we were talking and laughing so much that none of us remembered to.  We got home and unloaded and I was just about to lay Madi down for a nap when Scotty called and said my mom was watching the girls for the night so we could go out for some drinks.  Hallelujah!  I packed their bags and we hit the road.  I told my parents I felt guilty for leaving them over there because of how awful they had been acting. (not too bad though because I all but let their feet hit the ground before I turned around and ran to my car to leave).  I met Sarah for a pedicure and it was heaven.  The last time I had one I had both kids with me and there was no relaxing.  I left there and went to Home Goods and looked at every isle.  I never get to do that.  Scotty met me at MiCocina for some mambo taxis!!!  Amy came up to bring me a birthday card and was coaxed into having a drink with us.
I miss hanging out with her and I'm so glad she stopped by.  A nasty storm blew in so we stayed and had another drink and then called it a night.  Oh how the old days of birthday partying are gone.  We were home, in bed, childless by 9:45.  I fell asleep halfway through watching Gone Girl.  It was such a nice and relaxing birthday spent with amazing friends.

Swimming and painting nails

I had a killer workout this morning!  I was the first one in there and the last one out! It has been getting pretty crowded and if I'm not there by a certain time I don't get a machine!  Afterwards we met some friends at the pool!
Madison loves babies!  She kept grabbing his hand and kissing it and rubbing his head!

After baths we had pedicure time!  I painted the girls nails and then Kenzie painted mine!  She actually did a really good job!
