Sonogram and Birthday dinner

Tuesday I met Scotty and Makenzie at LaBella Baby in Rockwall and we had another sonogram of our sweet baby.  We got to see her and all her parts.  She's definitely still a girl and has the cutest little fingers and toes.  She was moving around so much it was hard for the sonographer to get good pictures.  I don't think Makenzie liked me being up on the table.  She kept saying "all done?" and wanting to hold me.

We stopped off at a little playground by our house on the way home to play.  The one I had been taking her too was way too big for her and I was nervous the whole time she was playing.  The one we went to that day was at a new school that just opened in our neighborhood and is perfect for her.  She had so much fun and ran and played her little heart out!!

Tonight I surprised Scotty with a birthday dinner at Perry's Steakhouse in Dallas.  We had never been there before and it was fun to get dressed up and go out.  Makenzie stayed with Koko while we were gone.

It was delicious and we ate way too much.  We picked Makenzie up and headed home.  She had fun with Koko and went shopping and to dinner and was getting a bath when we got there!!

Pumpkin painting and backyard playing

I picked Kenzie up from school today and we headed to pick out pumpkins.  She picked us out 3 pumpkins and we headed home to paint them with Dallas.

Korie and Dallas came over and the kiddos painted beautiful pumpkins.  They had so much fun!!

When they finished painting we went outside and ate dinner and let them run wild.

All of a sudden, Dallas took his diaper off and then Kenzie stripped hers off too and we were left with this....
Cute little tushies!!!  They ran around naked and played for awhile and then we came inside for baths!!!  I love watching these two together--they are so cute.  We took them home and Kenzie grabbed her stuff for bed and went in her room.
She was wore out!!

Weekend wrap up

Thursday morning didn't start off like I had anticipated!!  Scotty called me and said Kirbydog wasn't acting right and he needed to go to the doctor! He took him in and poor Kirby ended up having a seizure! His blood sugar was so low that it wouldn't register on their machine! I'm so glad he got him there in time! They got him stabilized and I was able to pick him up after work!  We had to adjust his insulin and food and I pray he doesn't have another episode!
Friday I picked up Makenzie and we went to Korie's house to play! Kenzie and Dallas have been playing so good together and it's so cute to see them interact together!  Shannon and Presley were there too! Makenzie loves her some Presley! She talks about her nonstop at home!
(She teeteed on her clothes at school)

Saturday we had fall/Halloween pictures! It was 68 degrees when we left and when we got in the car when we were done is was 52! We were freezing! It was misting rain and really windy! Poor Kenzie didn't want to do anything but a little sucker helps any situation! I would give her a lick and then make her pose and then give her another lick and so on! I can't wait to see what Tamera got. Bebe and Papa were at the house when we got home and my dad helped do some things I needed done around the house. Thank goodness for Papa's!! Bebe,Kenzie and I went shopping after Kenzie woke up from her nap and ran some errands!  When we were done we took Bebe home and then met Scotty for dinner!  I was craving On the Border so that's what we had!!  When we came out it was pouring down rain! Today was such a change with our weather!!

Today I left early and picked up Bebe and went to Canton Trade days!!  We walked around and shopped for 4 and a half hours! I got some great stuff and we had so much fun!!  Kenzie and Scotty hung out at home all day, and when I got home they were both still in their pj's playing.  I took Kenzie outside so she could play since it was so nice outside!
And then came in and played! She found a toy that you push a button to make it light up! She would push so hard her face would shake and she made the funnies expressions!
She was cracking me up! She also found a hair dryer and kept "drying" my toes like I do to hers when I paint her toenails!
We had a wonderful weekend!!  Back to the grind tomorrow and we have such a busy week ahead of us!!!

JBF and the State Fair

Today was the big day!  Just between friends sale!!  Korie and I met Shannon and Presley there and shopped our hearts out.  I didn't find as much as I wanted to for Kenzie but still got some great stuff! (Those 2 were still there at 8pm.....we got there at 2pm....wowsers)
Scotty and Kenzie picked me up early and we headed to the fair!  We have said every year that we've been together that we will go to the fair and never have, so I was so excited to go!!  Kenzie was so good and had a blast! The weather was nice and breezy--it was perfect!  The first thing we did was go to the petting zoo! Makenzie loved it! She got a little cup of food and would throw one tiny piece of food each time! We would secretly reach in and throw some or else we would have been there all night!
After that we got corny dogs and lemonade and sat at a table!
Her first state fair corny dog!!
We walked around for awhile and waited for it to get dark so she could see all the lights on the midway! We saw the new Big Tex, which she loved and kept saying "hi man" to over and over again!
She played a few games and won a prize!
She got cotton candy ...
And then Scotty and I played a water shooting race game, which of course I won! I got a big prize and let Kenzie pick! (I may have influenced her choice a little but I didn't want to come home with a giant spongebob or hello kitty)
Kenzie and I rode a flying elephant ride! She picked the pa-pool one! Poor elephant didn't know the load he was about to fly!
There was a bar inside that let us control if we went up or down and she mostly wanted to stay up! She's a daredevil!
She had a blast and was so excited the whole way home!!!  Scotty and I would like to come back on our own and be able to take our time and really explore!!   I'm so glad we went and that we could experience it together as a family!

Tuesday tidbits

We have been enjoying the "cooler" weather around here!  Monday I picked her up from school and we headed to the park to play!
We came home and had Popsicles outside and played in the backyard!
And then I noticed....
Oh hell no!! Someone bit my baby on the arm!  I felt so bad for her!!!  I asked her if she got a booboo and she said "yeah bite" in a sad voice!!!  I immediately called up there to ask what happened and her teacher said Makenzie is "known to bite herself"--umm no! She has never bit herself, never had a bite mark on her before! I was furious that she said that!!  Today when I dropped her off her teacher didn't mention that again, just said that she didn't cry or make it known that someone bit her so she didn't see anything!  They are toddlers, I get it! Things are going to happen! My intentions were to just inform them that it happened and if they did know find out what happened!!!

Today when I picked her up I got to see her school pictures!!  I could just eat her up!
Of course I had to buy them!!!  Her first school pictures!!  And then when I got to her room she ran up and said "peepee in potty"!  Her teacher worked with her today and she went 5 times in the potty!!!
I am so proud of her!!  We went to sonic to get a "pur-pool" slush and when I handed it to her she said "thank you mommy" unprompted and on her own!  My heart just melted!  She is such a sweet girl! We came home and played for the rest of the night!!

Today was Just Between Friends drop off. Scotty loaded up my car last night and I headed strait there right after work!
Kenzie had just enough space to sit in her chair in the middle--lol.  It took 2 hours to get everything brought in, inspected and put up where it should go!  I was so hot and sweaty when I finished, but it's done!!  I can't wait to see what I make from the sale and even more--shop it tomorrow!!!

21 Weeks

How Far Along: 21 weeks

Size of baby: Baby is the size of a banana.  About 10 inches long and about 11 ounces.

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 6 pounds

Maternity Clothes: Maternity shirts and bottoms.  I like full panel shorts better than just the elastic waist.  So much more comfortable.  I have started wearing maternity shirts to work instead of scrub tops.

Gender: GIRL  I'm having so much fun planning another little girls room!!

Movement: Lots of kicking--I love it.  Scotty was able to feel her kick last night.

Sleep: I have been sleeping so good.  However, I wake up about 45 minutes earlier than my alarm everyday and then I can't fall back asleep!

Cravings: Rosas Café.  It's a restaurant by my work and I could eat it everyday!

Best Moment This Week: Scotty being able to feel her kick!!

Kenzie helped decorate the board tonight.  And she loves to jump in the pictures!  Silly girl!!
