22 weeks

22 weeks!  Time is flying!  I have been pretty busy the last few days and not much time to rest!  My back has been killing me!  I can't decide if an ice pack or the heating pad feels better!
Charlie horses have started at night!  Those are no fun at all!  I jump up and have to walk around to get my calf unclenched!  Even as I become more uncomfortable and having more and more aches and pains, I am so thankful for this sweet boy and cannot wait to meet him!

Cheerleading Competition Videos

Cheer competition

Saturday morning was Kenzie's cheerleading competition.  I rolled her hair in sponge rollers before bed the night before and set my alarm for 4:45 to wake up.  When my alarm went off at 5:47 the next morning and after I hit snooze 2 times, I woke up in a complete panic and started barking orders to get up and get ready.  I guess I set the alarm for the wrong time or my phone thought I was crazy for selecting 4:45 and thought I must have meant 5:45.  Either way, Kenzie had to be there by 6:15 and we pulled in on 2 wheels at 6:18.  I think we did pretty good considering.  Mom and I made our way to the stands and waited until competition started at 8:00 am with the other cheer moms.
It was chilly and raining.  Luckily it stopped before the girls went on to compete.  Kenzie did so good and I am so proud of her.  The whole team looked amazing and did their very best.

They got 1st place.  YAY!!  All their hard work paid off.  The girls were so excited and the parents were ecstatic too.
I loved our group of team moms this year.  We are all kind of relieved that the season is over and our normal lives can resume.  Cheerleading takes up so much time and energy and we are all ready for a break.  A bunch of us went and had lunch afterwards and then had to be back at the stadium to cheer on the football boys in their super bowl.  A helicopter landed on the field to drop off the game ball.  It was so cool.
Madison fell asleep almost as soon as we sat down and stayed asleep the whole time we were there and didn't wake up until after the game when I put her in the car.
The boys won their game.  Bulldogs got first place in every category today.  It was such a long day, but so worth it.  Kenzie is so proud of her trophy and flowers and had such a good time.

21 Weeks

21 Weeks.  I'm actually 22 weeks tomorrow.  I took this picture on Tuesday which I was 21 weeks 3 days.  Feeling about the same this week.  Lots of back pain still.  I have added the heating pad into my nightly regimen.  I also have began getting heartburn and reflux at night while I'm sleeping.

Happy Halloween

Monday night was Halloween and we had a blast trick or treating and handing out candy.  I had the cutest little witch and unicorn ever.

We trick or treated for about an hour and then both girls were ready to go home and hand out candy.  I think Kenzie enjoyed doing that more than anything.  Joliegh came down and helped too.

A busy weekend

Friday after we rested up from the field trip, I looked outside at the kids playing and found Kenzie teaching Madison how to play t-ball.
My Uncle Jerry and Aunt Anita came into town for the weekend and we met them for dinner later that night.  It's always good to visit with them.
Kenzie had a football game to cheer at Saturday morning.  They did really good.  Only one more week to practice and then competition next weekend.

Love all these cheer moms.  Kenzie had 2 t-ball games immediately after the football game.  We grabbed some lunch on the way and went to cheer her on.  She played awesome and her team won.  These were her last games of the season.  My poor back was shot after sitting on bleachers for 4 hours.  I went home and laid around until mom, dad, uncle Jerry and Anita came over to hang out and visit.  Sunday morning we carved pumpkins.  Madison picked out a cat and Makenzie wanted to do a scary face.

Scotty did most of the work and they turned out pretty good.

That afternoon we went to Bella's 5th birthday party.  It was at her house and pumpkin themed and the kids had so much fun.  They painted pumpkins and played a few games and of course had yummy cake.

We left a little early to make it to a trunk or treat with Amber and her family.  We met at her moms house and rode in the back of the truck down to the park where it was at.  The girls loved doing that the most I think.  I left my phone in the car and didn't get any pictures.
It was a very busy weekend filled with friends, family and fun.  I love weekends like this.

Pumpkin party and field trip

Thursday Madison had her pumpkin party at school.  I was able to leave work a little early and be there with her.  It was a really cute party and the kids all had so much fun!

Friday Makenzie had her first field trip.  Madison and I went and were chaperones.  I had a group of 3 kids plus Makenzie and Madi.  The kindergartners got to ride on a school bus there and the parents all followed in our own cars.  Kenzie said that was her favorite part.

The field trip was to a pumpkin patch and there were lots of things for the kids to do.  We had a picnic lunch and then played with some animals.   There were also some really cool tree swings the kids played on and then we took a hay ride.

The kids were all hot, sweaty and tired by the time we left.  For it being the end of October, it sure is HOT still.  I took Kenzie home with me after the field trip and we went home and rested for a bit.  I am so thankful that I was able to go to both of their school functions this week, and we all had so much fun.
