Week wrap up

It's official.  Our house is on the market.  It's real now.  I have been a cleaning machine lately.  It is stressful making sure all the beds are made and the house is show ready everyday before we leave the house.  3 kids makes that nearly impossible.
Thursday night Scotty was giving Kenzie a shower and Landon crawled in the shower with his clothes on while the door was open.  We ended up stripping him down and he loved it.  He kicked his feet and spun around in circles.  Later when I was drying the girls hair, he crawled back in the shower and got his jammies soaking wet.  He is a mess.   Friday morning Kenzie and I had eye appointments.  She did really good and I was so proud of her.  The doctor wants her to wear glasses at school and when she is watching her ipad.  She was so excited to try on and get glasses.

There were pretty bad storms that came through Friday night.  We got ping pong ball size hail and lots of rain.  That night I went out with Autumn and Heidi.  We tried out a new restaurant and it was delicious.  We stopped for drinks afterwards and had so much fun.  It's nice to get away with just the girls every once in awhile.  Madison's soccer game was canceled Saturday morning due to the rain the night before.  Thank goodness because we woke up to temperatures in the 30's.  We would have froze our booties off.  We went to Bebe and Papa's house to visit for awhile.  The girls ended up spending the night and bubs and I came home to hang out.  This sweet boy just melts me.  He is just the sweetest little thing ever.  I gave him a bath and noticed how curly his hair is getting in the back.  I tried to get a picture but he is too busy and all over the place.

Sunday morning we got ready and went and picked the girls up and dropped bubba off.  We were meeting some friends at Disney on Ice.

The kids had so much fun.  I loved it too and sang all my favorite Disney songs.  And danced of course too.  We all went to dinner afterwards and ended the night with a chocolate pinata that was delicious.

Happy Easter

Sunday morning the girls woke us up super early saying the Easter bunny had come.  Scotty and I drug ourselves out of bed and joined in on the excitement.

I looked over and caught this little monkey climbing up on the couch to get into his sister's egg collection.  I couldn't believe it.  The girls never climbed on things like this.

The girls looked outside while I was making breakfast and noticed the Easter bunny hid eggs in the backyard too.   I made them a bunny breakfast.

We all got ready and headed out to go to Bebe and Papa's house.  We found bunny prints and jelly beans leading up to our front door.
The Easter bunny came and left eggs at Bebe and Papa's house too.  Bubs sat with Papa while the girls hunted.

They had found all the regular eggs and we were trying to help Kenzie find the golden egg.  She was getting frustrated and then she spotted it.

This is the best family photo we got.

We left there after lunch and headed to Chris and Autumn's house.  They had invited us over for dinner and to hang out.  It was delicious.  Afterwards we went out back and hung out and had a jump rope competition of course.
It was a wonderful Easter spent with family and friends.

Easter activities

Madison wasn't feeling well after school on Monday.  Her teacher told me she took a nap and she immediately fell asleep when she got in the car.  I took her to the doctor and she had 102 fever and diagnosed with strep!  My poor baby.
While she was resting, Kenzie and Landon played outside for awhile!  Landon loves being outside and of course doing anything his sister does.

Tuesday we took it easy while Kenzie was at school.  I worked on some Just Between Friends stuff while Madison worked on some art stuff.  I caught her in deep concentration while cutting some paper.
Wednesday morning she was back to her old self and excited to go back to school for her Easter egg hunt with her friends.
Thursday after school, Autumn and I took the kids to see the Easter bunny for pictures.  We lucked out and there was no line and we got extra time with the bunny.

We stopped for dinner on the way home and then came back to our house and had a glow in the dark egg hunt.  The kids had so much fun.
The kids were out of school on Friday so we went down to Autumn's house and dyed eggs.  Each kid opened up a different package and we ended up with so many cups of dye.

Rylee had a birthday party to go to so we took the kids to the park to play for awhile.

Saturday morning we were at the soccer fields bright and early.  The kids had their uniforms for this game and they looked so cute.  I just love Reid and Madi together.

Madison's first soccer game

Madison made her soccer debut a few weekends ago.  She is on a team with a bunch of her little friends and it is the cutest thing to watch!  She did really good for her first time.

The Little Giants pulled out an unofficial win and Madison was so proud of herself after the game!  A couple of us went to lunch together after the game and then Autumn and I took the kids to an Easter festival our neighborhood was having.

The kids all rode ponies and Kenzie climbed the big rock wall all the way to the top.  Madison surprised us by going down the big slide!  She is stepping out of her comfort zone more and more!  Afterwards we all went home and took naps and then met daddy for dinner when he got off work!
