Scotty is an amazing husband and father! He works so hard for our family! I am lucky to have him as my partner and "baby daddy". He drives me crazy, most days, but I wouldn't trade him!! He sent me beautiful flowers to work today!

A visit with the Easter bunny
Tonight we went and saw the Easter bunny! Kenzie was so excited and we talked about it the whole way there! How nice he was and that she wasn't going to cry! She was so excited when he walked up to take his seat!
She waved to him and said hi--very loud--over and over! When it was her turn she jumped right up and sat next to him!
Kenzie had a good day at school today! Her teacher sent me lots of pictures throughout the day! She said she kept getting baby wipes and putting a cast on her!
She said she didn't seem bothered by it all, thank goodness! I'm so ready for her to heal and put this behind us!!
Broken
Talk about exhausted! I'm pretty sure I have never been this tired in my life! Kenzie was up all night Monday night! She couldn't get comfortable with her arm in the splint and she just can't figure out how to suck the left thumb!! I ended up bringing her back to bed with me! This would be the one night that Madison wouldn't go back to sleep after her feeding, so most of the night I had both girls snuggled up next to me! Kenzie would need help rolling over or scooting back up on the pillow! We were basically up since 2'ish! I took Madi to the sitters and Kenzie and I headed off to the doctor!
Our night was restless! She went to sleep pretty easy but was up at 1 and wanted to come back to my bed! I kept her in her bed and tried to go back to sleep. Madi was up at 3 and Kenzie was still awake when I turned the monitor on! I laid with her for a little while and was able to get an hour of sleep before it was time to start the day!! I feel like a zombie!

Hurt wing
I got a call from Kenzie's school today on my way home! She started by saying "I wanted to give you the situation on Kenzie", and I knew it wasn't good! She said she tripped and fell on her arm and wouldn't move it or let anyone touch it! My heart sank! I hate for my babies to be in pain, but also because I hate orthopedic issues! I can't deal with broken bones! They make me queasy and sick! I rushed to get her from school! She was sitting in a chair off to the side alone, eyes puffy from crying and holding her little arm to her side. She started crying when she saw me and I scooped her up and we went and picked up daddy! Ashley offered to keep Madison for us while we went which was such a relief! I sat in the back with her and the poor thing cried with every bump and turn we made! We went to Acute Kids to have her checked out! She screamed bloody murder for the x-rays--it broke my heart! I knew we needed to do them but as a mom I didn't want to make her do anything that was hurting her! They had to do different views of her arm and everytime they turned her arm she screamed! Thankfully there were no broken bones or fractures! The doctor really thought it was a nurse maid elbow! We went back in the room and tried to reduce it, pop it back into place! She really hated that. The doctor didn't feel or hear a pop so it probably didn't do any good! We stayed in the room and tried to get her to move her arm but she never did! They put her in a cast splint with a sling and told us to see an orthopedic doctor! She seemed a little better when we got home and so far is sleeping! I'm hoping and praying and have every finger and toe crossed that she wakes up in the morning and is fine! I hope she just sprained it or bruised it and it scared her and she is back to herself!

Mommy and Kenzie day
I had a girls day with Kenzie today!!! We started off by running to walmart to get some groceries! She was so good the whole time we were there! It was pouring down rain when we left! We stood at the entrance for a few minutes but it never let up so we made a run for it! We squealed and laughed the whole way to the car and got completely drenched! I didn't bring my keys in with me so it took even more time punching in the code on the door to unlock it! We were soaked! We laughed about it the whole way home!
After we dropped off the groceries we headed to get pedicures! It was Kenzie's first time and I was nervous about how she would do! She LOVED it! I let her pick out her own color and she chose and orangy color! I was skeptical but it turned out cute!
She sat really still and let him file and paint her toes and even stayed still to let them dry! She watched Mickey on my phone until I was done and we headed home! It was nice to get some one on one with her!
The rest of the day consisted of laundry and cleaning! I feel like a ping pong ball whenever I have someone else helping with the girls! I just bounce around in a rush to get things done! If I don't, who knows when it will get done!!

Busy week
We have had a busy week! Wednesday we stopped by to visit Korie and Dallas for a little while!
Kenzie peed her pants while riding the tricycle so we had to cut it short! Bebe came over to help out and visit with us!!
Thursday after work, Kenzie and I played in the backyard while Madi napped in her swing! This girl is obsessed with bugs! It's discusting!
Madi took her first bath without her baby sling! She LOVES it and kicks her feet non stop and splashes everywhere!!
Friday I took the girls to the park after I picked them up!
I really wanted to get some pictures of the girls together in the bluebonnets! It was so windy and Madi couldn't catch her breath and Makenzie was in a bad mood!
I'm hoping we can try again before the grass gets too tall to sit in!! When we got back, Kenzie helped Bebe plant some flowers!

2 month stats
I Madison had her check up Monday afternoon!!
She weighed 11 pounds 12 ounces (75%) and was 22.5 inches long (55%). Her head is 15 inches (30%). She demonstrated to everyone how she rolls over from her tummy to her back!
The doctor was very impressed by her head control!! Other than a blocked tear duct in her eye she is perfect!!
Having both kids is always an adventure! Makenzie runs around my work like she owns the place! Everyone spoils her and she gets treats at everyone she visits! She did go potty twice while we were there so I guess she deserved treats!! Madison had to get 3 shots in her legs and had to drink one! Poor baby cried hard but calmed down when I picked her up! Sweet girl!!
Yesterday Scotty met me for lunch! It felt weird being out just the two of us with no kids! He stopped off and picked up groceries on the way home and even cleaned up a little at the house! I picked up the girls and we headed home to play outside!
I was able to cook dinner while they played and Madi slept! Things went downhill after dinner! Kenzie kept throwing tantrums! Throwing herself on the ground kicking and screaming tantrums! I was ever so happy to get her in bed. Madison wouldn't sleep. I would get her to sleep on my shoulder and lay her down but she would only stay asleep a few minutes and then was up again. It was hard to get aggravated because all she wanted to do was smile and coo at me! Finally about 11:00 and after trying for 3 hours to get her to sleep, I laid her down next to me and we slept until 4:45. I guess she just needed her mommy. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a good nights sleep tonight!
