Pumpkin carving

Scotty decided to keep Makenzie home from school today because she had a nasty cough!  I went to the gym and then came home to snuggle my girls!!  

I even got to sneak a nap in too!  Korie and Dallas came over and we ran to Target and then home to play!  I made dinner and then we carved out pumpkins!  I was surprised at how Kenzie just dug in and got dirty!

She was so proud of her pumpkin!!!

Zoo

After the gym this morning, Scotty and I decided to surprise the girls with a special outing!  I love doing spontaneous things like this!  We had nothing planned and it ended up being a perfect day!!  When we pulled up at the zoo Kenzie recognized the big giraffe outside and was so excited!!

They were so cute walking around holding hands!!

They loved the penguins!!  Next we headed to see the elephants, giraffes and lions!  This is our favorite part of the zoo!

Madison wanted to hold her daddy's hand everywhere she went!  It was so sweet!

We had such a fun day together!!  

A good start to the new week

Monday morning I was up bright and early and at the gym!!  When I got home we had some "hoopta hooping".  Kenzie is getting pretty good at it!

I spent the rest of the day until gymnastics cleaning the house!  I ended up getting most of it done which will be nice to be able to relax later in the week!  Kenzie did amazing at gymnastics!!! She was flipping and splitting and hanging from the bars!

This girl and her bunny!  She LOVES it so much!!!  After gymnastics we had to grab dinner and head strait to cheerleading!  We got our one and only time to practice on our football team before competition!  

They did pretty good but are so bored with doing the routine over and over again!!   Tuesday morning I drug my sore and tired body to the gym for my class after I dropped Kenzie off at school!  Madison and I went home afterwards to finish cleaning the rest of the house and then went back to pick up Kenzie later!!  They were just having snack so we went in to visit!  They made butter in class and were so excited to have it on a roll with honey!!  When we got home we decided to go out back and take advantage of the cooler weather!  Madison learned how to climb on the trampoline and made me a nervous wreck!

I loved walking in and seeing Kenzie lifting Madi up to wash her hands!  She is such a good big sister!!  

We got ready and headed to cheerleading as soon as daddy got home to watch Madi!  The girls did not have a great practice and us coaches were very frustrated!!  I was very excited to get them in bed and myself in bed by 8:30!!!

Busy weekend

Saturday night I got to have a girls night!  My friend Jessica had a bunch of us over for drinks and Keno!  We had so much fun!  

The bubbly drinks were so fun and we laughed all night!  Definitely need some more of that!!

Sunday I had a bridal shower for my sweet friend Tarina!

I am so excited for her and John and can't wait for their wedding next weekend!!  Afterwards we had a double birthday party to go to for Emery and Graham!  It was a fun mermaid/pirate party!

The girls had a great time!  Scotty had been cooking ribs and beans and a new rice while we were gone!  It was amazing!  He also grilled me a bunch of chicken for the week!  I have got to focus more on my diet!!  I'm going to work really hard!!

Petting zoo, crafts and Fun Fest

Kenzie had a petting zoo come to her school on Thursday!  She was so excited and told me ALL about it when I picked her up!  I'm so glad she loves school so much!!

Friday I had a craft night with the other cheer coaches!  We started on the girls end of the year gifts!  They are so cute and we had so much fun making them and hanging out!!!

It was a late night and Saturday morning we had an early game to cheer at!  It was pretty chilly but the girls did awesome!!

They did AMAZING at halftime!  After the game we went to lunch and then to our towns Fun Fest.  The kids had a great time!

Dallas and Kenzie ran up the stage and started doing the whip and nae nae in front of everyone!  It was so cute!
