A fun week with friends

Tuesday I had to work all day and had to make arrangements for the kids after school!  Amber took Madi home from school and the kids played!
I picked Kenzie up and brought her back to my work while I finished up!  She did great!  We rushed to get Madi after work and headed home to swallow dinner before heading out for cheer!  Allie stayed with Madison and they had fun playing while we were gone!  A day like today reinforces why I don't work full time!  The job part is fine but the rushing around afterwards and not getting to spend time with my babies is not worth it!  Kenzie had a half day of school on Wednesday!  Dallas and Blake came over to play!  It was a wild afternoon but the kids had fun!  Dallas stayed and we went to eat when Scotty got off work!
Love them to pieces!  Thursday I left work early due to my back hurting!  It was awful!  I picked Madi up early from school and we went home to lay down and nap!  Dallas came back over after school and the kids played outside all afternoon!

We had cheer practice later on!  It got a little chilly and Madi borrowed one of the girls brothers jackets!
She LOVED it!  I had a hard time getting it off of her to give it back!!  Friday we ran some errands while Kenzie was at school!  We ran into Amber and Reid!  Those two love each other!
Kenzie had a friend from her class come over after school to play for awhile!
Bebe came over later to spend the night.  The girls wrestled around with her until bedtime!  We had such a fun filled week with friends and family!

Happy Birthday Scotty!

Monday was Scotty's birthday!  He's an old man!!  When he got home from work the girls and I sang him happy birthday and had cake!

I love the way they are looking up at him smiling!  They love him so much!
We got him an autographed Dallas Cowboys helmet!  He loved it!  We are so thankful for him and love him so much!  Happy birthday!

16, 17 and 18 weeks

I forgot to write a post about 16 weeks!  And I totally forgot to do a chalkboard and picture for 17 weeks!  Oops!
So now I am 18 weeks!  I have been feeling pretty good!  My belly is getting bigger and bigger and starting to get in the way!  Bending over to pick something up or trying to sit up in bed is a big ordeal!  It's amazing to me how much faster this has happened this go around!
I'm still feeling lots of little kicks and was able to feel one on top of my tummy but it was supper LOW and I haven't been able to feel it like that again!  I love listening to his heartbeat with my doppler and it's so easy to find it now!  We cleaned out his room this past week and I ordered his bedding!  Just need furniture and a name!  Scotty and I are still disagreeing about the name but hopefully can pick one soon!

Go Rangers

Friday we went to watch the Rangers playoff game!  It was pouring down rain and chilly the whole way there but when we got there the rain had stopped and was just a steady mist!  Just enough to make my hair double in size!  Amber's husband got the tickets from his work and they were amazing!
Kenzie had school but Madi was able to go and she did so good!
The kids had a good time besides their grumpy faces!  (Amber and Amy were in the 2 chairs in front of us)

She took a short little snooze for an inning and then was good to go!  We had lots of good food and had so much fun!  Sadly the Rangers lost and then we had a 3 hour drive home due to traffic!  We picked Kenzie up and headed to dinner to top off our day!

Fair day

Kenzie had the day off from school today for Fair day!  It worked out perfect since Scotty was off work, so we went to the fair!  It was so HOT!  So much for the fall weather!  We ate some good food, rode some rides and played games!  It was so much fun!
Kenzie found a butterfly on a fence and put her finger down and it crawled right on her!  She was so excited!

The girls got their face painted!  Madi had been talking about this for days!

We left tired and hot!  It was such a fun day spent with my little family!!

Weekend wrap up

Saturday morning Kenzie had a game to cheer at!  They are wearing pink for breast cancer this month and I love their new pom poms.

She also had her first t-ball game!  Last year was a developmental league and this year she is playing 6 and under and the rules are completely different!
Kenzie did so good!  She hit both times she was up to bat!  She also made the only score of the game!  The score was 21-1......we lost big time!  We played an all boy team and they were 6 year olds on the their second year playing!  Our girls did good and learned a lot!
Later that night we went to a fun party at a pumpkin patch!  The kids had fun running around and playing!

I was exhausted by the time we got home!  Sunday mom and I went to Canton to do some shopping!  The girls stayed home with Scotty.  We had so much fun!  I got lots of good stuff!  We came home just in time to watch the Cowboy game!  Scotty was BBQ'ing and I caught him watching through the window!
Monday, Madi and I ran some errands while Kenzie was at school!
She keeps saying she wants to be a witch for Halloween but wouldn't wear the big hats that came with them!  She picked this one up and said "I'll be a witch with this one".  We came home and I started working on my Halloween garland to go around my door!
I still have to add some picks and decor to it but I'm happy with how it turned out!  Kenzie wanted to ride her bike when she got home from school!  We practiced in the street for a little bit but it was too busy with cars!  She was having trouble on the sidewalk but finally got it and by the time we went in she was zipping up and down the sidewalk!

We stayed outside until daddy got home from work.  She couldn't wait to show him how good she was doing!

No training wheels

Wednesday, Scotty worked with Kenzie on riding her bike without training wheels!  It was hot and Kenzie was grumpy from school and it didn't go as well as we had hoped--but they tried!

We came inside to cool off and Kenzie wanted to give her baby brother some kisses.  She loves hearing his heartbeat on the doppler!
Later we played in the backyard and took advantage of the cooler temps in the evening!
Today after school we went to Christina's house to practice riding bikes again!  Her oldest, Allison, wanted to teach her.....and she did!!

That sweet girl ran up and down the street with her a million times!!  Kenzie listened to her and did so good!  She fell and would get right back up and try again!

I was so proud of her tonight!!  She was so determined and saw it through!  A solid 3 hours and she had it!
