Another weekly update

A house in our neighborhood has a mailbox that goes directly to Santa!  This week the girls wrote letters and we took them over to mail them!

It's so fun watching them believe in the magic of Christmas.  We took the girls to see Trolls again on Wednesday!  This time daddy got to go and Amber and Reid met us up there too! 

Later that night Madi woke up with 103 fever in the middle of the night.  She tossed and turned in bed with me the rest of the night!  I took her to the doctor but she thought it was just viral!  All her test came back negative!  Friday night we went to the Polar Express in our neighborhood!  It was fun!  We saw Santa first and took some pictures!

Next up was "ice skating".  It was really plastic and not ice but she had fun either way!

We took some pictures by the Christmas tree and then hopped on the bus to look at Christmas lights!!

The girls wanted to have a sleepover that night and we moved Madi's mattress on the floor and let them snuggle!  Of course Madi wets the bed and we started our day way too early on Saturday!  My mom was a saint and let me lay around and be lazy while she cleaned, cooked and even baked my cookies for my cookie exchange party later that night!

I/Bebe made Andes Mint cookies and they were pretty good!  Everyone seemed to like them!  The party was fun and not only had yummy cookies but an amazing dinner!  This morning I slept in until 11:00.  It was AMAZING!  Scotty kept the girls entertained and I woke up feeling very refreshed!  Baby Reid had his birthday party today.  The girls still weren't feeling very good so I kept them home with Scotty while I went!

It was a cute party and Reid looked so cute.  When I got home Madi had spiked a fever and Kenzie was croup coughing and had a sore throat.  Poor babies!  We laid around and watched football and movies and had an early bedtime!  I guess it's back to the doctor tomorrow!

27 and 28 weeks

I'm 28 weeks now!  I had a long week and never got around taking my 27 week picture!!  Week 27 was rough!  Exhausted, sick, busy, back ache and did I say exhausted??  

I had a doctor appointment on Wednesday and had a sonogram to check on the placenta position!  Praise the Lord, it is in the correct spot now and everything looks good! Plus we got to see my sweet boy.

I have gained 28 pounds now so far!  I hate stepping on the scale but I know it's worth it!  There is nothing I can do now but embrace it and know that I have a lot of work to do after he comes.

I also had my gestational diabetes test done at my appointment.  I have been nervous about this test.  I got my results a few days later and I PASSED!!!!

Christmas fun

We have had a week of Christmas fun!  Sunday we met up with Amber and her family at our towns Christmas festival!  The kids had a lot of fun!

We went to lunch afterwards and then did some shopping before heading home!  It got really cold this week and we got to start our first fire of the year!  It was so cozy!

We made gingerbread houses with Amber and Reid!  They had so much fun but I'm pretty sure ate more candy than they put on their houses!

Saturday we went to The Gift of Christmas with Bebe and Papa!  I was skeptical at first about keeping the girls entertained for 2 house, but it was AMAZING!

A sleigh with santa flew right over us down to the stage!  And santa visited with the girls on his way by!  My favorite part was a performance of Little Drummer Boy!  It was amazing and had drummers suspended in the air and the lights were crazy!

There were live animals for the birth of Jesus scenes!  Complete with camels and zebras and many others!  It really was the coolest thing ever and I definitely want to go back!

We left there and went straight to a birthday party for one of Kenzie's friends and then headed straight to dinner for my nephew Calebs birthday!  It was at a hibachi restaurant and Kenzie loved using the chopsticks!

Today we had Scottys Christmas party for his work!  They went all out and it was really fun!  The girls got to bowl and play games!  Santa was there and mingled the whole time and then handed out presents to all the kids!

Kenzie bowled several strikes and some of those weren't even using the bumpers or the ramp!  There is nothing this girl isn't good at!  

26 weeks

26 weeks!  Oh for the love of heart burn!  I get heart burn from drinking water--literally water!  It's awful!

This week has been pretty tough so far!  Besides the heartburn, my hips, pelvis and lower back have been hurting so bad!

He is so low!  I am nervous for whenever he drops down lower towards the end!  I'm still hopeful that he will come up a little higher!  His kicks are getting stronger, which I love!  I can feel movement at the same time on both sides of my stomach so I think he is stretching out then!  I can also feel him roll over and get the hiccups!  It is so fun to watch my stomach move and I've caught it on video a few times!  The girls love watching and feeling him kick!
