We have survived 3 days post surgery! She is doing so good! Yesterday was a little rocky! She woke up with 100.3 temp but her little body was burning up. I brought her to bed with me and gave her some medicine and we went back to sleep until around 8:30. She was better during the day but would point into her mouth and say booboo! This morning she woke up about 4:30 crying but with no fever! I brought her back to bed with me and we slept until about 7:30, but she woke up super grumpy and crying! I gave her some Motrin and she was fine the rest of the day! She's been eating good and drinking good and wanting to play non stop! She is getting bored with her soft foods so I'm trying to come up with some other creative soft foods for her!
We stopped by Korie's house yesterday morning to get a banana and ended up staying for awhile to play! They "fixed" all of Koko's doors! Bebe came over so we headed home! She brought play dough and a stamp set--really?? Good ol Bebe!!
Before Bebe got there, Makenzie had another breath holding spell! She didn't want to take her motin and threw a tantrum and lips turned purple, no breathing, body trembling and then went limp! It is the scariest thing I've ever seen! I picked her up and sat her on the counter and she took a breath and then went limp and fell backwards and hit her head on the counter! I immediately called her doctor after hours! He said there is nothing to do for those and they are voluntary breath holding which means she will breath the minute she passes out--there's nothing wrong with her breathing! She's either doing it because her throat hurts and is swollen and feels funny or just a new thing she has picked up! I don't like it at all!!
Today, Scotty watched Kenzie while I went grocery shopping! My car instinctively turned into the nail salon parking lot all on its own! So I divulged into an hour of alone time! It was heaven!
When I got home from grocery shopping we played and made lunch and played some more! We went out front and played ball and caught the ice cream truck and had pop sickles! Kenzie and I cleaned the garage (I swear I clean the dang garage every other freaking weekend)
She has so much fun playing with all the babies toys! I hope she will entertain Madison and play with her!! Grandma and grandpa came over to visit and brought her a care bear that dances and sings! She loves it!
I walked into the babies room to clean and the damn lizard is back! I tried to hit him with the broom, vaccuum him up and ended up missing everytime! I lost him and waited for Scotty to come home and get him!
He couldn't find him either so I went to the store and got 8 sticky pads! I taped them on the walls and put some around the baseboards and closed the door and stuffed a towel under it so he can't get out! Please pray that I catch this lizard. I'm in nesting mode and I'm terrified to get in there and clean and I NEED him out!!
