Kenzie's room

I have had her room half finished for months now and it is time to have it finished!!

I love it.  It is so girly and pretty in there.  I taped off the chevron wall and Korie painted it.  Mom made the ruffled curtains and I spray painted the chandelier and added the jewels hanging off it.   Her grey wall behind her bed has glitter on it and when the light hits it just right it shimmers.  I have a wall quote that says "Once upon a time there lived a beautiful princess named Makenzie" to go on the grey wall above her bed, but it isn't going on right and not sticking to the wall.  I have the first line up and just can't get the motivation to mess with it anymore.  I may just take it down and order a different one or just do something completely different.  I have ordered pictures to go in her picture frames on her dresser, they just haven't come in yet.  I wanted to order big canvas prints to go above her closet but it was crazy expensive.  Pinterest told me to print engineer pictures at staples and then glue them onto foam board for knock off canvas prints.  They aren't perfect--but it works.  Another pinterest find, kind of, is her dresser.  I saw it on a pin when looking for little girl room ideas.  I loved it and started looking on Craigslist for something similar.  I found it on the SAME day!!!  We went and picked up the dresser and night stand and then I found a bed later that matched.  Her box springs is under her bed because we didn't want it up too high in case she rolled off, but I think she is ready for it.

I love being in her room.  If I was a little girl I would love to have a room like that.  I hope she likes it!!
