January and February the zoo is only $5 to get in. There was hardly anyone there and we had so much fun..
We ended up putting the babies together in my stroller and the big girls in Brittney's. Her stroller doesn't have trays on the front and the girls could jump in and out whenever they wanted. The babies were so cute and kept handing each other snacks and would rub each others arms. (They are only 2 days apart)
they had a dance party beside the elephants |
We looked at the elephants and fed the giraffes and then headed to play on the elephant display. Madi got off and asked Makenzie, "may I have this dance" and put her little hand out. Those two giggled and laughed and then jumped right back on the elephants. We headed to the kids area and let them run around and then we had a picnic. We made our way to see the monkeys and then rode the choo choo and caught the carousel on the way out. Madison was not sure what to think. She held onto her pole so tight the whole time and looked around. Her face didn't look excited but she never cried. Makenzie loved it!!!
I love Makenzie's face in this picture. Madison looks like such a big girl sitting up there all by herself. I can't believe she will be 1 next week. We loaded back up in the car and I headed home with 2 sleeping babies. Next up was dance class. The girls got to try on their costumes for their recital and they came out and modeled for us. Makenzie was so excited.
