Today we ventured into Washinton D.C. (Not to be confused with a state) (don't ask). We drove to the metro station and took a train into Washington and set out to explore!
The train was fun! It went super fast and was mostly underground! For a few minutes it went pitch black which was pretty weird! We got off the train and walked to the Smithsonian museum! I thought it was one big museum but really it is a BUNCH of museums everywhere!
A "nice" man put the biggest roach in my hand to hold! Disgusting! Kenzie held it next!
The museum was fun, but I am just not a museum person! Pretty boring for me! We left there and headed back outside to explore! The temperature had dropped and it was freezing! We bundled up and walked to the White House!
It was not what I pictured at all but so cool to actually see it! A man and woman walked out of the White House and stopped me and gave us a napkin with the Presidential seal on it from the dinner they were just at! He showed us pictures that he had taken of the Obama's and the decorations inside! It was very cool! We made our way back to the metro and headed back to our car! We were all starving so we stopped for dinner and then Sarah and I had some girl time with wine and lots of laughs downstairs before we called it a night
