Monday morning we were all up and out the door early! Scotty had to work so I brought the girls with me! We have all made amazing friends at the gym and I am so greatful for them!
Afterwards we got some groceries and rushed home to play outside before it started raining!
We skipped gymnastics and played at home instead and I made a yummy dinner! Yesterday I brought the girls with me to the gym again! Kenzie is on spring break this week! It started storming really bad but we made a break for it when it slowed down a bit and stopped off at Target to get a few things for dinner! The storms picked back up and the lights went off! It was a pitch black, I mean so dark I couldn't see my buggy in front of me! As I was getting my phone for a light I hear Kenzie say in a creepy voice, "this is when the ghosts come out". Madi freaked! Screaming and crying and yelling "no ghosts" over and over! When the generator kicked in and some lights came back on, everyone was looking directly at us! I was so embarrassed! The kids were extra whiny and fussy for the rest of the day!
I used Kenzie as a laundry basket to bring the towels in to fold them! I attempted to make tacos for dinner but the meat looked weird! Mom said it was fine but I just couldn't get past it so I threw it out and Scotty brought home pizza! I was so proud of myself! I resisted the pizza, my favorite pizza, and had chicken breast and veggies instead! The girls had whip cream and strawberries for dessert!
I need my sunshine back! Not sure if I can take another day trapped inside!
