Happy Birthday Madison

My little tiny girl turned 5!  I can't believe it.  She is so full of personality and we love every bit of her.  She had the traditional birthday balloons and the table was decorated and had her favorite breakfast.

I surprised Kenzie at lunch.  She was so excited to see me.  We had a fun lunch and it was nice spending some one on one with my big girl.
That night we went to dinner to celebrate.  She picked Buffalo Wild Wings.  The Hogans and Bebe and Papa came too.

Her birthday party was that weekend at The Little Gym.  All her buddies came and had a great time.

next update

Kenzie scored her first goal at a basketball game.  I was so excited for her (obviously from my obnoxious yelling).  She ended up scoring another one too but I didn't get that on camera.
(my video won't upload)
Madison was invited to her friend's birthday party.  We tease her that he is her boyfriend.  He is such sweet little boy.
I love the way Landon holds the girls arms in the carseat.  Don't worry we are stopped in both of these pictures.

When it's nice outside we go outside and play a little before Landon goes down for his nap.

Not very often, but sometimes I can convince the girls to get in the bath with Landon and knock all 3 baths/showers out in one.

Long over due post

Well another month has gone by with no blogging.  So here comes a few recap posts.  I'm going to try really hard and blog once a week and do a weekly recap.  But for now....

Madison is LOVING gymnastics.  She asks everyday how many more days until her class.

I found my boys sleeping on the couch together after watching TV one night. Sweetest picture ever.
Somehow this is the first time Landon has painted anything.  So of course it needs to be documented.
Kenzie is still LOVING basketball.  She is playing really good and says it is her new favorite sport.
We had a nice Sunday and were finally able to take the kids to the park and play.  We stopped off at the little pond and fed the ducks on the way home.  I love that Landon's hoodie doubles as a leash so he didn't go running after the ducks.

We had a few days of nice weather and were able to play outside after school.

Landon always has a fleet of cars with him wherever we go.  He is obsessed.  They are in his carseat, his stroller, his bed, the living room (all the rooms)....everywhere.  He calls out "car" the whole time we are driving while looking out the window.  Nascar and Monster Jam commercials are his favorite right now.
I'm trying to spark a love of reading in Kenzie.  When I was growing up all I did was read and I wish she loved it as much as I did.  She struggles with reading and it breaks my heart.
Makenzie celebrated 100 days of 2nd grade.  She picked out a shirt for me to make for her to wear to school.
And we finally got a sold sign on our property.  The land has finally been turned over to First Texas Homes and ground should be breaking soon.
