Kenzie's first day of 2nd grade

Kenzie has been so excited to start 2nd grade.  We went to meet the teacher and she was so excited to find out she got the teacher she had been wanting, but also sad that her bestie wasn't going to be in the same class. Sunday night we laid out all her clothes and had her backpack ready.  Monday morning came early and she woke up so excited.

I am praying for a great year for her and that hopefully her teacher and second grade sparks a love for school in her.  After school we ran to the grocery store so I could get a few fun things for her lunch.

I love looking back on her first day of school pictures.  She is growing up so fast.

Last days of summer

Our last few days of summer have been spent swimming and being lazy.  Madison has really surprised me with her swimming this summer.  She started this summer by not wanting to even take off her floatie or get her face wet and now she doesn't wear her float and swims like a fish.

Landon has had a raw booty for a few days so I put him in some of Madison's panties to get him out of the diaper.  Bebe has since bought him some boys undies.  He looked so cute running around.

I thought maybe we would introduce potty training while we were at it but he has absolutely no interest in it.  As a matter of fact he would pee and not even pause from playing.  Like he didn't even notice/care.  I have a feeling potty training this boy is going to be a whole different experience from the girls.
We went to lunch on Sunday and he looked like such a big boy drawing on the chalk board they had there.

Ninjas and Six Flags

I took the kids and Audrey to a ninja place in town.  They had so much fun and ran off lots of energy.

We went again on Wednesday when Scotty was off work (which is why Madison is in different clothes in the bottom picture).  Kenzie was running around too much to snap a picture and I was too busy chasing bubs so this is the only picture I got from that day.
Friday Autumn and I took the girls to Six Flags.  It was SO HOT.  It wasn't very crowded so we got to ride lots of things.  Poor Madison waited in line for the Bobsled and then they closed it when it was almost our turn and then we got in line again later and they told her she wasn't tall enough.  She was so sad and I felt so bad for her.

Landon stayed with Bebe and Papa and had so much fun.  He loves his Papa so much and drives my mom crazy because he won't say Bebe.  When she asks him to say Bebe he will smile and say "Papa".  I think he is just playing her.

Crayola Experience

Amber invited us to go to the Crayola Experience with her and her friend the other day.  The kids had so much fun and it was neat doing all the different activities.

When we got home the kids wanted to play outside for a little while and ride their bikes.  Landon insisted on pushing his car up and down the sidewalk and would push my hand off if I tried to help him steer it.

The next morning I walked in to find this.  They haven't had their Ipad all summer because we lost it in the move and then when we found it it was dead so I just put it away.  I got it out the other day so Madison could take it with her to the gym and they were so excited to watch their "shows".
