Amber and Reid invited us over to make pizzas one day for lunch.  They had fun making their pizzas.

Madison is loving school this year.  Her teachers always tell me what a sweet girl she is when I pick her up.  They say she is such a good friend and is always willing to help others and is so caring.  That makes me so happy.  She is at such a fun age right now and I have so much fun with her.
Last weekend we went to Bebe and Papa's house for the day.  The kids had fun playing in the leaves and climbing trees.

On Sunday we played outside and did a little yard work.  This house has 2 trees in the front but one is dead.  The ring around it has the most crazy weeds and grass that grows up so tall so Scotty and Landon pulled it all up.  And bubs picked me a flower.

Last week all 3 kids had dentist appointments.  I'm not real sure what I was thinking because it was a disaster.  This was Landon's first time going and he wasn't having it at all.  She could barely pry his little mouth open.  He kept calling for Kenzie over and over and was so happy to see her when he was done.  Madison had a good check up but poor Kenzie.....her teeth are going to give us grief.  She has a deformity on 2 of her back teeth that seems to be a cavity magnet.  The dentist described it like having a flap on the side of the tooth which traps food and bacteria in there.  She has to come back and have a filling done in a few weeks.  She also has a chipped tooth, I think from chewing on ice, and the dentist says she has very thin gums that are receding.

Makenzie had her end of the season get together for volleyball.  The coach gave out awards and medals and then the parents played a game against the kids.  It was so much fun.

We also surprised daddy one day and put the Christmas tree up.  Our tree from last year broke and we need to get a new one, but since we will be in our new house for next Christmas we decided to wait and not buy one this year.  This is a spare Christmas tree that we used in the playroom last year.  Not my favorite but it will do.  This rental house just doesn't put me in the Christmas mood.  It's too little and crowded that I don't want to put all my decorations out.  If only all the rain would stop so that they could start on our new house.

Thursday night we had family pictures taken.  I snapped a few while we waited on the photographer to get there.  The day had been so nice and in the 70's, but halfway through our shoot the temperature dropped and poor Madison was freezing and shivering so much.

Happy Halloween

We started off by carving some pumpkins.  Thank goodness the dads were home because they basically took it over.

The weather for Halloween was freezing cold and rainy.  The kids begged to go trick or treating so we got ready and headed out bundled up and in our rain boots and umbrellas.

The rain did let up for a little bit and then just was misting.  The kids didn't last too long and we headed home to pass out candy.  They loved doing that just as much, if not more, than trick or treating.

Playing

I took the kids to the ninja place.  We love going there.  They get to run wild and get all their energy out.

Kenzie had her bestie over to spend the night.  I hadn't heard them in awhile and I came into the kitchen to find them all coloring together.
This little boy LOVES his papa.  Anytime he is playing with his phone and we ask him who he is calling, it's always Papa.  He was so excited he came to watch Kenzie play volleyball.
We had a couple of nice days where we could play outside so we took advantage of it.  It has been raining non stop for the majority of the last 2 weeks.

I love seeing him play outside and get all dirty.

The other day I was helping Makenzie clean her room.  She was rearranging the thousands of stuff animals on her bed.  They all have names and she called this one "Madi and Chaina".  I thought at first it was a strange name but maybe she was naming after Madison and it does have a chain on it.  I asked her how she came up with it and she showed me that tag that said "Made in China".....this girl cracks me up.
We also made it out to the park one day before dinner.  We were planning on meeting Scotty for dinner so we just left early and played for a couple hours before.  It actually worked pretty good because then they were hungry and ate all their food.

A few weekends ago the girls and I went out to Heid's moms lake house.  We went out after Makenzie's volleyball game and spent the afternoon driving around their property in the golf cart and watching the sunset over the lake.  The next day the kids were outside playing from sun up til we left around 4.  It was so nice to not have them glued to the ipad or tv.  Seeing them collect acorns and rocks and set up a store for us to come shop in brought back my childhood days.  I am thankful for everything we have, but what I wouldn't give to be able to raise my babies like I like grew up and have them know a more simple life.

Halloween Fun

Landon spent the night with Bebe one night and the girls and I went to a Halloween carnival that a local church put on.  The girls had fun dressing up and playing all the games.

It was so cold and windy and had been sprinkling off and on so we didn't paint their faces.  They looked so cute.   Later on in the week we went to another Halloween festival.  We went with Autumn and her girls and had so much fun.  Bebe came with us too.

The kids had so much fun.  Landon was really getting into it and would walk right up to people and stick out his bucket for candy.   A few days later, Madison's school had a Halloween carnival so we went to that.
