Camp

Kenzie started a day camp at the YMCA on Monday.   Madison and I played play doh and she made me a birthday cake.
I was nervous for Kenzie all day.  I knew she wouldn't know anyone and she looked scared when I left.   When I picked her up she was all smiles and said she had a lot of fun.  Kenzie found a hat in bubbas room that we had forgotten about.  She had bought it at Christmas from a little store her school put on.
It was so sweet of her to think to buy him a present when he wasn't even here yet! She loves him so much.  Kenzie went back to camp on Tuesday.  Madison, Landon and I hung around the house and played while she was gone!  That night she had tball practice and Scotty took her to that!  She was a busy girl!  Today we ran a bunch of errands while she was at camp.  They got to swim today so she was super excited!  We picked her up and went to Ambers house to swim.  They are out of town and we are house sitting.

Bubba swam for about 30 minutes and seemed to enjoy it until he realized he was starving!  The girls had fun swimming with Scotty while I went in and fed Landon and made us some dinner.

Birthday weekend

Kenzie's tball game got rained out Saturday morning so we went and helped Bebe do some things around her house.  Landon tried sweet potatoes for dinner and LOVED them.
Sunday morning I woke up to birthday donuts.  My actual birthday was Monday but since Scotty has to work he wanted to celebrate Sunday.
The girls and him spoiled me with new Burberry sunglasses, perfume and shoes.  Scotty had a fantasy football draft to go to and me and the littles stayed home and played.
That night for dinner we met up with Heidi, Rob and Tessi to celebrate mine and Heidies birthdays.  Bebe and Papa came too.

Bubba sat in a high chair for the first time and did really good!
We had such a good time visiting and celebrating our birthdays, and dinner was delicious.

6 flags

Friday Kenzie and I went to 6 flags with Heidi and Tessi.  Madison and Landon stayed with a sitter and I was so nervous.  This was the first time he had stayed with anyone other than my mom or Amber!
It was so stinking hot but we had a blast.  Kenzie rode all the rides she was tall enough for and begged to ride the ones she couldn't.

She was most excited to ride a "loopy loop".  The shockwave goes upside down twice and she was just tall enough to ride it.
Notice there is no line to ride this ride....it was like this all day.  We walked right up to every ride and this one we ride 4 times without ever having to get out of our seat.  It was such a fun day spent with my big girl!  I was so proud, and shocked, at how brace she was!

Our week

Monday was spent lounging around the house in our Jammie's all day.  I did get up and go to the gym and even got there early and ran a mile before my class.  When I came home I found these two snuggling.
Madison loves sitting in Landon's bumbo chair.  Yes she is 3 and can still fit in it.
Tuesday I made my July 4th swag to go around my door.  It had looked so bare on my porch not having anything.
Kenzie had 2 friends over after lunch.  They all squealed and laughed all afternoon.
We went swimming at Ambers house.  The pool was finally warm enough to get Landon in.  I started just by putting his feet in and ended up getting his clothes wet so I just got him all the way in.

He loved it.  I held him for awhile and then we laid him in a baby float.  He kicked back and floated around.
I just love him.  He has started doing rice cereal off and on!  I'm hoping it will help with his spit up, but so far it hasn't.
He seems to like it so far.  Kenzie loves changing his diaper!  She does a pretty good job so I let her sometimes.
Yesterday after I went to the gym we all decided to go swimming.  Scotty swam with the girls while I fed Landon and got him down for a little nap.

We went and had lunch and ran some errands and then Landon and I laid down and took a much needed nap.  Today Kenzie had a play date at her friends house and they swam all day.
Madison and I played and cleaned up around the house while she was gone.  I laid bubba down to play on his piano mat and when I came back he had turned around upside down.  I turned him back around 3 times after he scooted his way around.
His feet are normally kicking on the piano part.  Korie and Dallas came over later to visit and have dinner.

Father's Day

This past Sunday was Father's Day and we had the best time celebrating all the dads in the family.  The girls and I woke Scotty up with Starbucks and breakfast and then gave him a gift.
The girls had him make them robot suits out of boxes.
Later on Bebe and Papa came over and then Austin and Leslie came with their kids.  Even though it was Father's Day, the guys did all the cooking!  We had all kinds of steaks and chicken and sides.  It was delicious.  The kids played all afternoon while we all visited!
I caught Bebe and Madi in the pantry with the door closed, snacking....
And dad said he couldn't hear the TV even though it was as loud as it would go....

I am so thankful to have such an amazing daddy.  He has taught me so much and I look up to him more than he will ever know!  I am blessed to have found such a wonderful dad to my babies!  Scotty is so patient and gentle with the kids!  I knew when we were dating that he would be a good dad, but I had no idea just how great he would be.

What we've been up to

Last weekend after the gender reveal, Scotty and I got to have a date night.  We met up with some friends at the Rustic.  It was our first time there and we had a great time.

Sunday morning was a little hard to get going after the night before!  I met some friends for pedicures and then came home to hang with the family!
Kenzie had soccer practice that night and we all went to cheer her on.
This week was the last week of swim lessons!  The girls have been doing great.
Madison isn't a fan of jumping in but doesn't mind if Randa pulls her in.
We swam at Amber's house a few afternoons.  There is lots of shade there so it's easy to keep bubs out of the sun.
Bubs is still loving his thumb!  I have been trying to come up with activities for the girls to do besides sit around on the iPad!  Kenzie does a few pages out of a school workbook everyday!  She reads to her sister and of course popsicles after dinner.

While Kenzie was at tball practice with Scotty, I put Landon in the bath with Madi!  She thought it was the coolest thing ever!
Wednesday night we had a glow stick party!

Kenzie had her first tball game with her new team Thursday night!  Kenzie did amazing--her whole team is amazing!

Poor bubba cried every time we cheered!  He is going to have to get used to that!  The next day Madi and I, and the rest of all the parents, woke up covered in chigger bites!  Thankfully, and I'm not sure how, Landon didn't get any.
Friday was the girls last day of swim lessons!  They did so good!  We met up with some friends for dinner later on!  Kenzie ended up going home with them and spending the night with her friend Tessi.
It was her first time staying the night with a friend!  She did great and we all met up at the pool the next morning!
Madison thought she was so big being able to swim to Kenzie underwater!  And Kenzie loved it.
After swimming for awhile we went to Bebe and Papas house to visit!  Bebe had a little pool that the girls swam in again.
We came home and made a peanut butter pie for daddy to have on Father's Day! The girls helped and we made a HUGE mess when the mixer came on and shot powdered sugar up like a fountain all over us.
