A little catch up

This sweet nugget is the best snuggler ever!  He just melts into me and I love it!  Normally his last feeding is around 4 or 5 and I bring him to bed with me to snuggle.
He had his newborn pictures taken last week!  Ashley came over for 7 hours and I can't wait to see them!
I did get one sneak peak.
Dallas came over to play Thursday.  The girls had been so bored being cooped up all week they were so excited to have him over.
Bebe took a half day at work and came over to hang out.  Kenzie had tball practice later on and she took her to that for me.
The girls and I did some painting.  We need to do more stuff like this because they LOVE it.  It's just a lot of prep and stress keeping the paint on the paper, and now with a baby....
Saturday Kenzie had a tball game!  My dad came and picked us up while Bebe stayed with Madi and Landon!  I only have a few more days until I can drive!
Kenzie did so good.  It was so hot at the game!  This summer is going to be miserable with it already being this hot in march!  Korie came and picked the girls up later to go to a birthday party!  They were very excited to get out and do something fun!  When they got home we played outside for a little bit and waited on daddy to get home!!

Landon is one week old

Landon turned a week old on Wednesday!  I can't believe it has already been a week.
He is such a sweet boy!  He loves to be cuddled and sleeps the best snuggled up to someone.
The girls are obsessed with him and I can tell the feeling is mutual.  He will turn his head and look towards the girls and we are convinced he smiles a lot for Makenzie.  (Yeah yeah could be gas).
He is eating between 2-3 ounces every 2-3 hours!  I think I need to switch the nipples on his bottles because he sucks them so hard they collapse!  Hungry boy.
He is doing much better with not spitting up and it seems like his tummy is adjusting to the formula!  Thank goodness!  We are so in love with this sweet baby boy!!

Survival

Since coming home, we have all been in survival mode.  Everyone loves getting baby snuggles and have been fighting for turns!

We have had some visitors come by and Kenzie gets so stingy with "her baby".  She would keep coming over to me and say, "I want my baby back".
Scotty and I have been trying really hard to make sure the girls get enough attention and not put them on the back burner to tend to baby bubba!  We have been playing lots of games!
He has Scotty's scowl!  But I still love that sweet face and that double chin!
This goofball has been acting out for attention.  Lots of not listening and back talk and doing the complete opposite of what someone tells her to do!  But then she sticks her toes up her nose and makes us laugh!

Bebe gave bubba his first sponge bath.  His belly button and circumsicion still freak me out a little and I was afraid I would get it wet!  He LOVED his bath and  was calm and relaxed the whole time.
We were all curious as to if his circumsicion was healing right and how it is done.  I caught dads discussed face watching a you tube video!

Monday Papa came over to stay the day with us!  Landon had a doctor appointment bright and early!  He did great and his doctor said he looks perfect!!
Later that afternoon I had a doctor appointment to get my staples out!  Dad drove me and all the kids!  I took Landon in with me and the girls stayed in the car with Papa.
Landon did great! Of course my doctor was running behind and the girls drove dad crazy.
We came home and watched a movie and I fell asleep with Landon.  I woke up to dad leaning over me saying "I've lost Makenzie".  I could tell he was freaking out.  Makenzie had made herself a little bed beside the couch and didn't hear my dad calling for her.  Poor papa.  Mom came over after work and I took the girls outside to play for a bit.

The girls had a clothes fight on the bed while I was trying to fold clothes.  Landon loves watching them!  I can't wait to see them all play together!

Coming home

Landon did really good for his first night!  He woke us about every 3 hours to eat and then went back down pretty easy!  He was spitting up quite a bit so we talked to the nurse the next day!
Thursday the doctor switched him to a sensitive formula in hopes it would help with his spit up!
Kenzie had school pictures Thursday!  She didn't want to wear a dress because she was nervous about playing at PE .
Mom convinced her to wear it and she looked adorable!  Scotty went home in time to pick the girls up from school and mom came up to the hospital to visit with me!  Scotty stayed home that night and I sent Landon to the nursery in between one of his feedings and was able to get some good sleep! (Scotty had snored so much the night before I didn't get much sleep). Friday morning my doctor came by and checked me out.  He said I looked great and I convinced him to let me go home a day early!
Scotty came and picked us up and we fought traffic for 2 hours trying to get home!

I love those cheeks!  Mom brought the girls home and stayed the night to help me out!  Madison told me she had a rock in her nose and started crying and saying she was sorry!  After looking up there with a flashlight, sure enough she had stuck a rock up her tiny little nose!  I dug it out with tweezers and hid my panic until it was out and then broke down!  Lol. Great way to ease into having 3 kids at home.

Landon Scott Smith

Wednesday morning we were up bright and early to head to the hospital.  I was scheduled for a c-section!!  I was surprised to find the girls awake at 4 when I woke up.
Shocker---Madison was grumpy!  Our last picture as a family of 4.  We got to the hospital and checked in and found out I was having contractions and my blood pressure was super high!  Good thing I was delivering.
At 7:47am Landon Scott Smith was born!  He cried a sweet little cry immediately and we fell in love with him.

8 pounds 9 ounces of sweetness!
We got moved to our room and waited on the big sisters to come see him.

The girls were so excited and Makenzie couldn't stop staring at him and smiling!! They stayed awhile and then headed home, but Papa and Uncle Momo came up later.

Papa even helped tag team a poopy diaper with Scotty!
We spent the rest of our first day snuggling him and trying to get some rest.
