Spring Break

Our sprng break was spent playing with friends and as much time outside that we could in between the rain.  We snuck a movie in on Monday with Autumn and the girls and our next door neighbors.  

The 3 girls across the street spent the night.  We watched a movie and Max discovered he could jump on the couch!

Wednesday night we went to Chuckee Cheese to celebrate Landon’s birthday.  Bebe and Papa came and the Hogan’s.

Makenzie taught Madison how to ride her hoverboard and now Madison is obsessed!

Bebe and Papa came over and we decided to heat the spa and get in.  It was AMAZING!  The girls were crazy and jumped in the pool.

Landon came inside and fell asleep sitting with papa.

Max is growing so fast.  His head barely came over the side of the bathtub at first and now he can just hop in if he wanted.

This technically sums up our official spring break, but it got extended indefinitely due to the coronavirus.....now we are homeschooling and quarantining ourselves.

Happy Birthday Landon

The Friday before his birthday they celebrated him at school.  He was so excited to show me his hat when I picked him up.  He has been working so hard on holding up 3 fingers.

We got home and he worked on his Jeep before we took a walk to go meet the girls walking home from school.

Saturday was the girls last basketball games!  It was a long morning of games, but it was worth it seeing them so happy to get their medals.

That night our cul-de-sac put on a fun night to kick off spring break.  Everyone met down in the circle and we had food and drinks while the kids played games.  I brought some cupcakes and we sang happy birthday to bubs.  The boy next door, Luke, got Landon a lightsaber.  Landon was so excited.

We roasted marshmallows for s’mores and then the kids went bug hunting with flashlights.  We all had so much fun.  I LOVE our street and neighbors.

The next morning was Landon’s birthday.  I decorated the table with Paw Patrol stuff and he was so excited to see it when he woke up. 

That afternoon I took the girls to get haircuts and pedicures.

We met Scotty and Landon for lunch and then ended our night with SweetFrog!

This boy completes our family so well.  He is so sweet and loving, funny, sassy, naughty, loves to “nuggle” (snuggle) always “humpy” (hungry) and loves to make us laugh.  I love him so much and can’t believe my baby boy is 3.

Landon had hat day at school and I’m not sure why he doesn’t wear hats more often!  I love him so much!

This sweet pup lays with me every night before bed and loves to snuggle. 

We are so blessed to live where we live and have all the kiddos.  They all play so well together and are so sweet to bubba.

Every time I take a bath, Landon tries to sneak in and when I tell him to go out he will say “I need to tell you some-fing” and will whisper a bunch of nonsense.  Now I have another visitor too.

Landon and I brought Max on the golf cart to pick up the kids after school.  Max did great and Landon loved showing him off to everyone at school.

It’s almost time for the consignment sale I do and I was upstairs working on hanging up clothes and came down to find Landon had tucked himself in my bed and took a nap.  Sweet boy!

Our pool is finished and we are so excited.  We have to brush it 2x a day for 2 weeks and then we have pool school and will learn how to work it and take care of it.  Then.....we are hot tubbing!

I love sitting by it and listening to the waterfall and bubblers, and dream of summer.

The kids love playing in the dirt area behind our houses where they haven’t started building.  They have made an obstacle course and go on missions.

I am so thankful for how much she loves my boy.

The girls got their basketball pictures back.  They had a disappointing season winning wise, but they still had fun.

This past week I spent time upstairs in the girls rooms cleaning and organizing.  I turned around and found Max behind me laying down.  He had never gone upstairs before and surprised me.

Landon and I love a good nap on the days he doesn’t go to school.  Apparently Max does too.

This poor dog acts like we never feed him.  He will lay beside his bowl and just beg for us to feed him.
