Jumping, Bebe and birthday decorations

Friday morning I took the girls to Jumperoo time at a trampoline park.  We met some friends up there and let the kids jump out all their energy!!!  I had a great time chatting with my mommy friends and Kenzie ran around like a wild woman!

I also met a girl that I have been reading her blog for a long time.  It's funny when you can recognize people just from reading their blogs and never have met them before!!!  After the kids wore themselves out, we went to lunch with Jessica, Harper, Sarah and Kylie.  The girls and I had to grocery shop on the way home and then waited on Bebe to come over to spend the night.  We had fun visiting with her and ran and got some dinner and then worked on birthday stuff after the girls went to bed!!!
This morning we woke up and got busy crafting and doing more birthday stuff.  We got all the pinwheels set up and the tables decorated and hung a "tent" over the kitchen table.

Kenzie and Bebe baked some cupcakes together.  She loves baking with her Bebe.  Probably because Bebe lets her sneak licks of batter and icing along the way.

Scotty brought us home dinner and then we played with the kiddos before bed.  I ended my night with a nice bubble bath and I'm ready for another long day of working around the house tomorrow!!

Another amazing day

Today we took advantage of the amazing weather and went to the zoo with our friends.  We met Brittney, Madi and Hunter and spent the day there with them.
January and February the zoo is only $5 to get in.  There was hardly anyone there and we had so much fun..

We ended up putting the babies together in my stroller and the big girls in Brittney's.  Her stroller doesn't have trays on the front and the girls could jump in and out whenever they wanted.  The babies were so cute and kept handing each other snacks and would rub each others arms.  (They are only 2 days apart)

they had a dance party beside the elephants

We looked at the elephants and fed the giraffes and then headed to play on the elephant display.  Madi got off and asked Makenzie, "may I have this dance" and put her little hand out.  Those two giggled and laughed and then jumped right back on the elephants.  We headed to the kids area and let them run around and then we had a picnic.  We made our way to see the monkeys and then rode the choo choo and caught the carousel on the way out.  Madison was not sure what to think.  She held onto her pole so tight the whole time and looked around.  Her face didn't look excited but she never cried.  Makenzie loved it!!!

I love Makenzie's face in this picture.  Madison looks like such a big girl sitting up there all by herself.  I can't believe she will be 1 next week.  We loaded back up in the car and I headed home with 2 sleeping babies.  Next up was dance class.  The girls got to try on their costumes for their recital and they came out and modeled for us.  Makenzie was so excited.

Kenzie'isms

Kenzie cracks me up.  She says some of the funniest things and has the cutest little personality ever.  The other day I was telling her "I love you" over and over again, and she said "Mommy calm down, I heard you".  I died laughing.  She still says "biddle bit" and I love it and hope she never realizes it is little bit.  Last night when we went and had ice cream, we could not quit laughing at her saying "eh-cream".
OMG I love it!!  She is so stinking cute.  She is into bargaining right now.  If I tell her we need to leave somewhere she will put her hands up and say "wait a minute wait a minute.  5 more minutes".  I can't help but say ok.  She always says "whats happening" and "come on guys".  She is so sassy and cute and I'm loving this age and all her personality coming out!!!

Soccer, park and ice cream

We had an early morning of soccer this morning.  Kenzie didn't love it as much this week as the week before.  I think it's because her sidekick wasn't there this week.  (Dallas and Koko are on a cruise this week)

Afterwards we ran by Office Max to get some things printed for Madi's party.  It took a little longer than I expected and Madi freaked out and we had to leave.  I got Scotty to pick my stuff up on his way home from work.  She is getting quite the temper on her.  She does not like to be told no AT ALL.  When she is done with something or doesn't want something, she will let you know.  I have also learned that when she is tired or hungry, she means business.  If I try to push it a little its a disaster.  She will push away from me to where I can barely hold her, or if she is on the floor will fling herself down and bury her head and not look at me.  Her face turns bright red and her cry turns into a growl--it is ugly.  We came home and the girls laid down for a nap and I did some painting on the frames going up the stairs!!  The ones I got to turned out really cute.
When the girls got up we had some lunch and then went for a walk.  The plan was to go around the block but we ended up walking to the park and playing for awhile.  I am so excited to be doing this with the girls.  They love it and it gets us out of the house and Kenzie is able to run off some energy.

Why does she look so big in that last picture.  Slow down please!!  When we got home I started dinner and we went in the backyard to play some more.  This amazing weather and seeing the girls play in the backyard makes me want to fix it up.  We have a trampoline to set up and then I really want to get one of those big wooden fort sets for Kenzie for her birthday!!  Scotty was early tonight so after dinner he took us to Sweet Frog for some ice cream.  Madi was clawing at my cup and looked so sad I couldn't take it anymore.  I got her some sherbet but she didn't like it and I broke down and gave her some oreos out of mine.  SHE LOVED IT and couldn't get enough.

Fingers crossed she does ok tonight and her tummy doesn't get messed up.  I would do anything for her to have outgrow this allergy.  We came home and lounged in the bed watching some cartoons before bed.  Another perfect day.

Whew we have been busy

Monday I jumped back in the gym and started off the week right.  I upped my calories burned, my distance and my time.  I worked out legs and went home feeling amazing.  The girls and I loaded up and headed out to the park to play.  I met a new mommy to chat with and Kenzie ran around with little girls and played.  I love watching her interact and meet new people and see how she plays.
We all had so much fun.  Later that night we met up with Bebe and Papa so I could pick up a romper I borrowed form a friend that my mom picked up for me.  We decided to grab some dinner at Cici's and Kenzie suckered her Bebe and Papa into playing some games.
This little girl loves her papa so much!  I'm pretty sure the feeling is mutual and he is pretty much wrapped around her little finger.  While we were eating dessert, Madi kept giving us all the sad face.  I couldn't take it anymore and I gave her some cinnamon roll.  She is so dang close to 1 which is when we can start trying different foods to see how she does with it.  She loved it and kept waving her hands around and smiling so big.  (she did great through the night so I'm hopeful that she has outgrown her milk protein allergy)
This morning I went back to the gym to workout.  I was rocking my workout and my phone kept ringing but I kept ignoring it.  Then my dad called so I answered.  He informed me that the fire department had been dispatched to our house on a house fire call and our alarm company had called him since I didn't answer.  Ooops!  I jumped off the treadmill and hauled butt home.  I passed the fire truck leaving as I was turning on our street.  Scotty set off the alarm cooking again.....oops!  He is going to be banned from cooking.  I was so bummed I had to cut my workout short...I was trying something new and could tell a huge change.  When Madi woke up from her nap, I loaded the girls up and we headed to the park so I could take some pictures of Madi for her birthday.  Since she hates being sat down and have me walk away to have pictures taken, I though maybe she would do better with me.  I think they turned out cute.

After I wiped her down and let her big sissy have a turn with the sucker, we went to the playground to play.  Kenzie of course met a new friend and was busy playing the whole time.  I ran into a friend that I hadn't seen in YEARS.  It was so nice to catch up.  This park is so fun.  We love coming here.

Her favorite part is the sandbox for sure.  We left there and were headed home and I almost forgot that we had packed a picnic so we stopped off at another park by our house.  After we ate lunch Kenzie ran off to play and instantly made friends and started running around with a pack of kids.

The little girl that was there last time we came to this park, Queen Elsa, was there again and Kenzie was so excited to play with her!!!  Her mom and I chatted while the girls played and Madi had fun discovering the playground.
After prying Kenzie away from playing we headed home to change and refuel.  We wen right back out to take a walk around the block.  Makenzie wanted to ride her tricycle so I put Madi in her push car.  They both loved it and had so much fun.

When we got home our next door neighbors were outside playing so we sat with them.  They have a 3 year old little girl so Makenzie was so happy to continue playing.  I love the momma!!  I'm so glad to have them as neighbors and I see many good memories to be made with them.  Madi lost her crap after awhile and we had to evacuate and head inside.  I shoved dinner down them and soaked them in the bath and tucked them into bed so I could take a nice bubble bath and relax.  We are all so worn out.  This staying at home with the kids all day is exhausting.  We were on the go ALL DAY LONG.  I'm looking forward to amazing spring days where we get to do this everyday!!!
