Goodbye 2015

I can't believe it is New Years Eve already!  This year has flown by!  It has been an amazing year with lots of good memories made!  I made amazing new friends that I am forever greatful for!  I also decided that I was going to make a change for myself!  Losing 35 pounds and working out daily has changed not only how I look but how I feel!  I have more energy, I'm more confident and I am proud of myself!  2015 was a full year of me staying home with my babies!  While at times it was hard, it was also the most rewarding job I have ever had!  I know 2016 will be amazing and I can't wait to see what is in store for us!

Bowling

Yesterday the girls and I went bowling with Korie and Dallas!  They had so much fun!  Kenzie ended up winning the game!

Tyson!!

We brought Tyson home on Sunday and it is now Wednesday!  It's been a LONG few days!  We keep saying a baby would have been easier!!  Sunday night he woke up every 1-2 hours whining and crying!  I took him out every time and he went pee and poop every time! He did have one poop accident in his bed!  Monday morning he had his puppy check up!  Big boy weighed in at 8 pounds 7 ounces!  His doctor said he looked perfect and that we made the right decision!

I spent the day chasing him around and getting things out of his mouth or cleaning up pee and poop!
I did take the Christmas tree down after he played tug a war with it!  Monday night we were up every 2 hours to potty!  Yesterday the girls and I went to the gym and ran a few errands!  He was so happy to see us when we got home!
His sweet little face is the only thing saving him right now!  Korie and Dallas came over to see him and hung out for awhile!  Bebe and papa came over for dinner and to meet Tyson!
His favorite thing to do is sleep behind the couch or buried under things!
Last night I was up every 3 hours to go outside!  I'm hoping he stretches it out more and more every night!  His poops got real runny and his doctor put him on an antibiotic so hopefully that will help!!  As stressful as it has been, we love him and are so happy he is home!!! (But ready for the puppy stage to go)

Tyson 2.0

This morning we headed to go pick up Tyson from "puppy school".  We had to drive through the tornado destruction to get there and it was unbelievable!  Neighborhoods literally look like a war zone!  So sad! We made it to Oklahoma and got our puppy!
Kenzie insisted on holding him so I sat in the back between the girls to help!  He was WILD!

He finally settled down and took a nap between Kenzie's car seat and the door!  It didn't last long until he got his second wind and went crazy again!  I took him up front with me and put him on the floor and he laid down!
He is so cute!  Kenzie was surprised to see him and said "well I guess he changed colors at school"!  When we got home it was poop central!  This dog ran around and pooped everywhere!  He ate really good and settled in after exploring!

Kenzie LOVES him but Madi only likes him from across the room!  She will warm up to him...I hope!

The day after....

I was up bright and early today to meet Korie for some after Christmas sales this morning!!  We were a little disappointed that things weren't more on sale, but don't worry, I still bought plenty!  Afterwards we came home and the kids exchanged gifts!

I was so sleepy later that afternoon and had a massive headache!  I ended up taking some Tylenol PM and falling asleep early!  Horrible storms came through and produced several tornados very close to home!  The pictures on the news and Facebook are horrific and we have several friends that lost everything!  Praying for them!

It's Christmas!!!

Merry Christmas!!!!  We had such an amazing day spent celebrating with family.  I found something on pinterest that I could set my camera on interval shooting.  I was able to set the times for every 15 or 30 seconds and it would take a picture.  I am never in any pictures on holidays because I'm always the one taking them.  I was interested how this was going to turn out and I'm so glad I did it.  I set my camera up the night before so it would be ready and I guess I left it on because it snapped a picture of Santa by our tree.  I couldn't believe it.
Makenzie and Madison must have been super good this year because Santa hooked them up.  They were so excited when they saw everything.
Madison kind of had a rough night and I finally brought her into our bed around 4:30 and we never really went back to bed.  Kenzie got up around 7:30 and we couldn't contain her in our room so we ran into the living room and started Christmas.

The girls loved all of their stuff and had so much fun ripping into everything.  They would squeal after every present.   Scotty and I had an amazing Christmas as well.  He got me everything that I had my eye on and more.  I'm most excited about a new band for my wedding ring and my polar watch.  He also got me an Apple watch that I am trying to figure out and some new kitchen stuff that I wanted.  Once all the craziness was done I made a breakfast casserole and we got ready to head to Christmas with Bebe and Papa.

The boys finished cooking lunch and we stuffed ourselves and laid around for a bit before packing up and heading to Grandma and Grandpa's house.  The girls were spoiled some more over there.  I left my camera in my purse and didn't get any dang pictures.  We stayed for a few hours and then headed home to clean up and play with our new stuff.  About 8 o'clock Makenzie reminded me that we hadn't eaten dinner yet.  Whoops.  Good thing for leftovers!!  We had the best day today!!  Merry Christmas everyone!!!

Christmas Eve

I drug myself to the gym this morning and actually felt so much better by the time I left.  After a shower and getting the girls dressed and ready, we went and got pedicures.  I don't think I have ever brought both of them with me.  I've gone with one or the other but this was a first and I was nervous.  I was most worried about them being loud or annoying and other people getting frustrated and not being able to relax.  I definitely didn't get to relax and even told the lady she didn't have to do my massage part so we could hurry.  That's my absolute favorite part of a pedicure.  The girls got to pick out their own polish and got their toes painted.  They actually did pretty good and I was proud of them.
We came home and had lunch and while Madi took a nap, Kenzie and I baked cookies--FROM SCRATCH.  I never do that!!!  They turned out amazing and we had so much fun making them.
When Madi got up I put them in the bath and try to tame Kenzie's hair.
Scotty ended up having to work late so the girls and I made some spaghetti for dinner and wrapped some gifts that I had been putting off.  They got cookies ready for Santa and we snapped a few more pics in front of the tree in their Christmas jammies.  Kenzie made some reindeer food at school that she sprinkled/dumped in the front yard.

Kenzie was so excited when she went to bed.  This is the first year that I think she really understood and was excited for Christmas.  She finally went to bed and Scotty and I ended our Christmas eve in the living room with wine and some work to do!!!
