Tuesday tidbits

Saturday we didn't leave the house all day!  It was the first time in a long time that we didn't have anything to do!  I deep cleaned Madison's room and then made a Christmas garland for the front door!
I still have some picks to put in it, but I LOVE it.  Bebe came over later and stayed with the girls while mommy and daddy had a date night.
We went to Al Bernets with some friends and it was delicious!  We got home way past my bedtime, but we had so much fun!  Sunday morning mom came with me to register for baby boy!
It was fun but also overwhelming realizing everything I still need.
Monday, Madi and I met amber at target to register there too.  Baby shower invites go out next week and I wanted to make sure I got it done before then.  Work was so busy today!  It's getting into the flu/rsv season and I'm keeping my fingers crossed I don't bring some home on me and pass to the kids.  I picked the girls up and we came home and went outside to play!  The weather was so nice!
We came inside for dinner and I had to bribe Madi to eat!  Dinner is becoming a battle, but tonight I won!

Nick is back

Our elf Nick came back to visit last week!  He always comes the day after Thanksgiving.  He brought yummy donuts, a movie and book!

The girls thought it was hilarious that he took a bite of the donut!  Since then he has been found doing all sorts of fun things around the house.

A visit with Santa

Yesterday we went and saw Santa Clause!  We met Amber and Reid up there early to get our passes and then waited around for an hour until our time!

The girls did really good!  They told Santa everything they wanted and smiled pretty for their picture!  I have a feeling we will see him again before Christmas!

25 weeks

25 weeks!!  We finally have come up with a name!  Landon Scott Smith.  This is big considering the struggle we have had to come up with a name!  Sweet boy has been rocking and rolling this week!  I am feeling tons of kicks and rolls and he has moved up and it's nice to be able to feel him up higher!
Heartburn has set in and is no fun!  Tums have become my new candy of choice.  My back pain is still horrible and I haven't been able to find anything to bring relief!

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!!  We started the morning off by sleeping in, which I am very thankful for!  We got ready and headed out to make the turkey eating rounds.
We went to visit Grandma and Grandpa first!
Scotty's whole family was there and it was nice to visit with everyone!  Next up was Bebe and Papa's house!
We ate so much food and then laid around and watched the Cowboys get another win!!  Scotty took the girls home while mom and I did some shopping.
We missed the rush and walked in from our first row parking and got everything we wanted and didn't stand in line to checkout.  I put my phone away for most of the day and didn't get a family picture. I did however get a picture back from our shoot on Sunday!

I am most thankful for my little family!

Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer

I did some more decorating this week.  I still have some stuff to add to the mantle and I'de like to put lights in the garland too!
Dallas came over to play one day!  These 3 are crazy together.
Wednesday the girls got a much needed hair cut.  They had their first real salon visit.

Madison's hair is so long when it is wet, but when it curls up it barely reaches her shoulders!  Kenzie got about 3 inches cut off and it looks so much better.  Later that night, we dropped Madi off with papa.  Bebe, Kenzie and I had a special night out!  We had dinner at The Cheesecake Factory first!

Kenzie got a case of the giggles and decided she needed make up for our next stop.

Next up was seeing the play, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.

We had great seats and were so excited for it to start!

It was such a fun night spent with 2 of my favorite girls ever!

24 weeks

24 weeks!!  I had an appointment this week to check on this sweet boy!  I've gained 22 freaking pounds so far!  He still tells me I'm in the "ok" range!  I am not ok with it though!  I saw my normal doctors partner this time and he reviewed my chart and threw me off with some news!  The placenta is anterior and super low and looks like it is attached to where my c-section scar is.
He told me not to go home and google, which of course I did!  I go back in a few weeks to have another sonogram and check the placement again!

It's been awhile

Another week and weekend have come and gone since my last post!  This week has been more calm and relaxed!  I started putting up some Christmas decorations!
The mesh was put up several times before I was "happy" and even then I have changed it since this picture to a completely different mesh!  The same with the topper!  It went up and came down twice and I'm still adding picks to it!  The girls helped put some ornaments on too!

The bottom 3 feet of my tree is decorated now!  My OCD is kicking in and I'll be rearranging and adding to it soon!!  Madison made a cute turkey hat at school!
Friday we went to hobby lobby with Amber and Reid!
Kenzie had a fun day at school called Cubs on the Move!  They spent the entire day being active and trying out new activities!  She did yoga, dance, lacrosse, running, karate and all different kinds of sports!  Her teacher sent me some cute pictures!

During the karate demonstration, she was called up to break a board with her hand!  I got a cute video and she was so excited to tell me all about it when she got home!  Bebe and papa came and picked us up Saturday morning to do some garage sale'ing!  Mom ended up staying with us and hanging out and we took her home later!  Scotty brought home dinner and we played before bed!  Today we had family pictures!  Scotty got to watch the Cowboys game before we left!  They won so he was in a good mood!  The kids cooperated for the most part and I am so excited to see the pictures!
