Soccer, volleyball and an egg hunt

Friday morning I took the kids to the park to play!

We headed to Bebe and Papa’s house to do some yard work and dye Easter eggs.

We decided to let bubba decorate with a market instead of dye.

We made homemade pizzas for lunch and hung out most of the day!  Scotty came home early from work and we met some friends/neighbors at our new house to walk it and theirs.  They are building the house directly behind ours.
Saturday morning Madison had her first soccer game.  They were really cute out there but played an older team and got didn’t win!

Scotty stayed there while I walked Makenzie over for her volleyball game!  Kenzie played great and made her serves over and returned a few as well.

I love watching the kids play their sports!  Juggling both of their practices and games is a challenge but so worth it.  That afternoon we went to Heidi and Robs house and walked to the park for an Easter egg hunt.

Afterwards we went to eat at a fun BBQ place for an early dinner!  They have a fun playground and inflatable for the kids and delicious food!

It was a very busy day but we had so much fun!  And a little too much sun.  We all came home a little sun burned!

Back to reality

Tuesday was back to the real word!  Madison had gymnastics and Kenzie was back at school.  Scotty was still on vacation and we took the kids to see the Easter bunny that night!

Wednesday Madison went to school and I picked up her graduation pictures! Wah!  I can’t believe she is almost done with Pre-K and even worse starting Kindergarten.

It was also our anniversary.  9 years!  We didn’t do anything to celebrate since we just got back from our cruise!  We cooked out and had a delicious dinner.  These past 9 years we have been blessed tremendously and I can’t wait to see what is still to come.  Kenzie had kid biz at school on Thursday.  Her business was “Tatoos by Makenzie” .  I loved this project and the kids had a blast.  They ran their business in shifts and then put a “closed” sign up and were able to shop at all the other booths with pretend money!  They were leaning about the importance of making money to spend money and other business aspects.

That afternoon the ice cream man drove down our street while we were outside playing!  We were so excited to get our first ice cream of the summer!  He promised to come back.

Afterwards we went to the house and wrote on the frame and “blessed” it.  Autumn and her girls came by too.

Cruise day 4 and coming home

Our last day on the boat was spent at the pool all day.  Literally from breakfast to dinner!  I didn’t take one picture and it was the best day ever!  Autumn and I snuck off and had a massage mid morning and then back to the pool.  That night at dinner Madison got up and danced with waiters and then they surprised us with an anniversary song and dessert.

The kids went to Camp carnival after dinner while we went to the comedy club again and then gambling.  The comedy club is our favorite thing to do on the cruise!  We laughed so hard and had the best time!  We cashed out and paid our bill and picked the girls up and headed to the room to pack up to come home.  The next morning we were off the boat and on the road by 9:00am.  We couldn’t wait to get home and see our bubba.  We got home around 2 and he was so excited to see us!  I missed him so much!  It was such a fun trip and we had the best time!  I am so thankful for Bebe for keeping Landon and loving on him while we were gone!

Cruise day 3

We were up early for breakfast and then off the boat in Cozumel!  We had a fun day planned to swim with dolphins.

I don’t have many pictures to show for our day.  We couldn’t take anything with us when we swam with the dolphins and the pictures they took there were so expensive we decided not to buy any.  Looking back now I wished that we had.  The 8 of us got to go in as our own group and had the best time!  We all got to shake hands/fins, dance, kiss and rub the dolphin.  And then to all of our surprise we got to swim on the dolphin’s belly.  We didn’t think we were going to be able to do this with the one we booked!  I got to go by myself and then again with Madison on my back.  Scotty did it after some hesitation (he doesn’t know how to swim) and Kenzie did it too.  It was so much fun.  Afterwards we went to an area to snorkel!  Kenzie and I would have stayed there all day.  It was so cool seeing all the fish and GIANT stingrays.  When we got back we took the kids to Camp carnival and the adults went to the comedy club and did some gambling.  When we picked the girls up we found these two sleeping angels cuddled up together.

It was a super fun day but we were so tired!’

Cruise day 2

Our first full day at sea was spent at the pool!  We woke up and had breakfast and then changed into our bathing suits.

Madison was so excited but scared to go down the water slide.  She had finally worked up enough nerve to do it and then we couldn’t get her off it after that.9

We went back to the room and changed to go play Bingo!  Autumn stayed in the room with Paislee while she napped.

We didn’t win but we had so much fun!  We found out there that it was formal night at dinner that night!  We hadn’t planned it being that night so we rushed back to get ready!

Landon stayed home with Bebe and we hadn’t been able to text/talk much but I did get this picture!

It was a super fun day and we were all excited to be in Cozumel the next day!
