Baby kicking

Miss Madison was going crazy tonight so I thought I would try and video it.  I could feel, and see, my stomach moving around.  Watch the middle/left of my stomach!

Picture day

Makenzie totally rocked her pictures today!!!  I can't wait to see them!! She did amazing.  She smiled, posed, danced and cheesed it up.  Tamera showed me a few on the camera and they were adorable.
Those girls are too much!  They love spending time together.

I think I got carsick on the ride home.  I didn't get actually "sick", just felt super nauseous.  I think it was because we rode in Laura's car and maybe I'm not used to sitting down so low in a car, and it wasn't as cold in there as I need it to be.  Regardless, we got home and took naps.  I never actually fell asleep, but laid there for about 2 hours.  It was nice even without the napping!!  I got up and went in Kenzie's bed and laid with her.  She snuggled up to me, and I couldn't help but stare at my perfect, sweet, angel of a baby little girl.  She looked so peaceful sucking her thumb, snuggled up to me.  All I could think was "she's mine, all mine".  I couldn't have asked for a more perfect baby.  Madison has big shoes to follow up in.  I'm sure she won't have any problems and my love with double, but man, this girl has me wrapped around my finger.  She drives me crazy and pushes every button and boundary that I have, but she is perfect, and she's mine!!  I love her.

Our Elf Nick was spotted this morning hanging out on Makenzie's diapers.  He must know that Makenzie has been giving us a hard time during diaper changing.  It didn't hinder her attitude today, but she was cute every time she would come in for a diaper change she would blow him a kiss.

Tamera brought my family picture CD to today's picture session.  They are amazing.  Here's a few of my favorites.

First Haircut and our elf Nick

Today was a big day for us.  Makenzie got her first haircut.  I may or may not have shed a little tear when the first cut was made!!  She was such a big girl and did everything the lady asked her to do.  She got to sit in a cute pink jeep car and had a million suckers to keep her focused.  She didn't get a crazy cut, just a little trim.  She had a little tail going on in the back and needed it to be evened out.  It looks so much better now!!!

This morning before all that, Bebe came over and we met Shannon and Presley to do a little Black Friday shopping.  We were able to get most of the same deals from the night before without standing in any crazy lines.  I even got a front row parking place at Wal-Mart.  We came home and had a nap, then went for the hair cut and then we headed down the street for a little get together.  All the girls were there with their kiddos.  There was wine and deserts and some snacks.  The girls all talked while the kiddos played.  It was such a nice, relaxing night!!!  I can't wait until I'm able to partake in the wine drinking.

She laid all the babies down in a line...she said they were in trouble!!

We have to be up early in the morning for Christmas pictures.  I know, I know....lots of picture taking for us.  I didn't realize these were so close to our last pictures, but these are just of Makenzie in her Christmas clothes!!!  No more pictures......until Miss Madison arrives!!!

We had a new visitor in the house today!  A little Elf came.  His name is Nick and he was sent by Santa to keep an eye on Makenzie and report back to Santa on her behavior.  This morning Makenzie found him in our Christmas tree with a note from Santa.

Happy Thanksgiving Day

Happy Thanksgiving Day from our family to yours!!!  We are so thankful and blessed this year!

We started the day off by watching cartoons in bed!  We watched a cute thanksgiving cartoon and I noticed the kids were wearing turkey hats at dinner, so the first thing I did when we got up was whip up a few turkey hats for Makenzie!  They turned out really cute!
Kenzie helped me make the mashed potatoes and corn casserole.
We celebrated the day with our wonderful family!  We started by going to Grandma and Grandpa's house and visitng with them!
We ate great food and had great company!  We left there and headed to Bebe and Papa's house to eat again and hang out! Makenzie decided she loved the jelly cranberry's.  She was gobbling it up.

Bebe and I left and headed out to shop!  We got there at 4 for the 6:00pm sale!  The item we went for was outside and we were freezing!  We got what we came for and headed home to thaw out.  I can't wait to see a certain little girls face when she sees it!!!

I am so thankful this year for my little family! Scotty, Makenzie and Madison mean the world to me! They are the reason I get up everyday(literally).  I am blessed to have the most amazing parents a girl could ask for!  I have best of friends and so blessed to have them to go through life with!  We have our health and happiness and couldn't ask for more!!

29 Weeks

How Far Along: 29 weeks

Size of baby: About the size of an acorn squash.  She's almost 17 inches long and almost 4 pounds.

Total Weight Gain/Loss: +17  I was right!

Maternity Clothes: Full on maternity clothes.

Gender: GIRL  Madison Grace Smith

Movement: This little girl is so active.  She kicks and rolls non stop and I love it. I have to start doing kick counts this week.  The doctor wants 10 kicks in 2 hours....easy peasy!

Sleep: I've been sleeping really good at night but I'm still so exhausted all day, and by the time I get home from work--I'm DONE.

What I miss:  Being able to take drugs when I'm sick.  My sweet angel daughter has shared her cold/RSV with me.  I'm so congested but runny at the same time, sneezing and have the worst headache.  I would kill for some good sleepy time meds right now!!

Cravings: Still Mexican.

Best Moment This Week: I bought the paint for Madison's room and Korie is going to come help me paint next week!
