Happy Birthday Scotty

Last week was Scotty's birthday.  He turned 35 and we were so excited to celebrate him.  Both our parents and our friends met up for dinner that night.
I may get to have my cheerleader after all.  Landon found Rylee's megaphone and he loved it.

This little stinker threw his first true temper tantrum in the store.  We were at the checkout at Kohls and of course something went wrong and then I had to go stand in line at guest service.  He saw a Mickey and was screaming like a crazy baby.  There was no way I was giving in and getting him the Mickey, but a sweet old lady came over and gave him one.  She bought him one.  I'm not sure if it was just because she was tired of hearing him scream or if she just wanted to make him happy.  Either way, he got his way and was happy.  (I couldn't believe it)
 Love this sweet boy.
Kenzie's school does a really cool field trip week every year in second grade.  They ride a bus everyday to the aquatic center and learn pool safety and get to swim.  I went and watched her on the last day.

The State Fair of Texas and soccer

The girls fair day fell on a Wednesday and since Scotty was off we decided to meet up with our besties and make a day out of it.  It was SO SO SO hot but we had so much fun.  We started with watching the pig races and then made our way over to the car show.

The kids favorite part was the midway.  Scotty rode some rides with Kenzie and then took Madison to play some games.

Madison was so excited to take a picture next to a goose.  (Her nickname is Goose, Madi Goose, Goosey Goose)

We finally had a day with no rain and Madison was able to play a game of soccer.  Of course it did start raining on us halfway though.  It wasn't bad though and the kids played through it.

This is how I watch Madison play.  Landon screams anytime someone cheers.

Scotty sent me this picture the other day.  He walked in and caught them snuggling on the couch.   So sweet.

Getting caught up

Landon has been saying "I love you" and it is the sweetest thing ever.  We just love him so much.
Madison has only got to play 2 games this soccer season due to all the rain.  We showed up for a game and then it started pouring so again the game got rained out.  We decided to take Landon to get his hair cut instead.  He hated it but looked so stinking cute.

Kenzie had a volleyball game later that afternoon.  He knew he looked so cute.

Excuse the obnoxious mom cheering.  I'm so proud of her.  She has been working so hard on her serve and it is really paying off.
These girls love their bubba so much.

A little catch up

We got to have a night out a few weeks ago to celebrate Autumn's birthday.  We had a nice steak dinner and then went to Pete's Piano bar afterwards.  We had so much fun!

We went and watched Rylee at her pep rally!  She did really good and the kids had fun.

This little boy is so funny and makes us laugh all the time.  He loves when we take his shirt off to leave it on his head like this and will go running around.
We went to dinner and Landon was showing us his mean look.  It's so funny.  He will tilt his head down and frown his eye brows.  I just love him!
Madison, Landon and I went and had lunch with Kenzie at school.  She loves it when we come eat with her and we really should do it more often.
Kenzie is still loving volleyball.  It is really hard keeping Landon off the court from chasing all the balls.  He wants to run and be free so bad.
