No training wheels

Wednesday, Scotty worked with Kenzie on riding her bike without training wheels!  It was hot and Kenzie was grumpy from school and it didn't go as well as we had hoped--but they tried!

We came inside to cool off and Kenzie wanted to give her baby brother some kisses.  She loves hearing his heartbeat on the doppler!
Later we played in the backyard and took advantage of the cooler temps in the evening!
Today after school we went to Christina's house to practice riding bikes again!  Her oldest, Allison, wanted to teach her.....and she did!!

That sweet girl ran up and down the street with her a million times!!  Kenzie listened to her and did so good!  She fell and would get right back up and try again!

I was so proud of her tonight!!  She was so determined and saw it through!  A solid 3 hours and she had it!

Our weekend

Saturday morning was Kenzie's homecoming game!  The girls all wore their mums and looked adorable! (They took them off after awhile)

Her coach let Madison come down on the field and do her favorite cheers with the big girls!  She thought she was hot stuff!!

Mom helped me do some stuff around the house and entertained the girls while dad and I ripped out some shelves in the baby's closet!  My back was killing me and I mostly laid around and made sure dad did it right!!!
We had a birthday party to go later but didn't finish stuff in time and had to miss it!  I also had a girls keno night to go to but I was so tired and my back was hurting that I stayed home and went to bed early instead!!  Sunday we laid around and we're lazy!  We did venture out for lunch and got soaking wet in the rain!  I had to work my volunteer shift for just between friends later that night!  I picked up Amber and Jaymie on the way and we spent the next 5 hours sorting clothes!  I got home a little after 1am and crashed!  My poor feet were swollen and my back was aching!  Today I was beat!
Madi gave me a back massage this morning and then I had a hair appointment.  My hormones must be screwing with my hair follicles because instead of lighter, my hair came out darker!  O-well!
We spent the rest of the day being lazy and ended the night with a game of bouncy balls and Popsicles.  Now I'm going to catch up on some sleep!!

Homecoming pep rally

Thursday night Kenzie had her homecoming pep rally.  Bebe took Kenzie's uniform from last year and altered it so Madi could wear it and she fixed up both of their mums!  They looked adorable!

The girls got to do their routine for everyone to see and they did an amazing job!

Ready for fall

I spent the weekend working on getting the house ready for fall!  It's still 100 degrees outside, but we are ready!!

Tuesday I dropped my Just Between Friends stuff off after work!  I picked the girls up on the way home and we rushed through dinner and then went to cheer practice!  Some of the moms and I put together some candy bags for the football boys during practice!  My allergies were awful and I sneezed over and over--it was terrible! Today, Scotty let me sleep in until 10:30!!!  I was still doped up on Benadryl from the night before and sleeping in felt amazing!!  Later on I met some girlfriends at the Just Between Friends sale and I got some amazing stuff!  When I got home I found the girls playing t-ball with daddy!

Daddy thought he would show Kenzie how to follow through when hitting the ball and sent the ball sailing over the fence about 3 yards away!  Show off!  Kenzie had real t-ball practice later on and Madi and I stayed home and cleaned up around the house and played!!  She wanted to wash her own hair in the bath and thought she was such a big girl!!

15 weeks

15 weeks!!  I'm actually 15 weeks and 3 days!  It is just flying by!!  My allergies have been kicking my butt this week!  I must have sneezed yesterday at cheer practice at least 50 times!  My eyes and nose was itching off!  It was awful!  The only thing that seems to help is Benadryl which knocks me out!!  I'm feeling little brother more and more and I love it!  I also have been able to find the heartbeat on the Doppler a lot faster!
I am loving being pregnant but I can't wait to hold this sweet boy!!!

14 weeks

I'm 14 weeks and 5 days!  I took this picture a few days ago but I haven't had a chance to do a post!  IT'S A BOY!!!  It is still so surreal that we are having a little boy!  I can't wait!!  I'm feeling pretty good!  I had an appointment this week to check on the baby!  His heart rate was 152.  I have gained about 7 pounds so far!  It feels like WAY more!
I am feeling more and more tiny kicks!  I can't wait until others can feel them too!  His name has become a big debate between Scotty and I.  Hopefully we can agree on one soon!  I'm ready to start getting things monogrammed!

Another week wrap up

Monday, Madi and I did some shopping for baby brother after we took Kenzie to school!  It was so much fun buying little boy things!
I bribed the girls with going outside if they are their dinner!  We waited until it cooled off and went outside to play!

I got my exercise in chasing after them!!  Tuesday was grandparents day at Kenzie's school!  Bebe and Papa surprised Kenzie with lunch!  I volunteered with the PTA to take pictures so I could be up there and see them!

She was so excited to see them!  Wednesday I had a doctor appointment to check on the baby!  His heart rate was 152 and it was so fun getting to hear it!!!  We stopped for lunch and then picked up Kenzie from a friends house that she rode home with!  Thursday I worked and Scotty came up to get his flu shot!  The doctor said he had too so he sucked it up and did it!
I worked on finishing up Just Between Friends stuff before cheer practice!  I'm about 90% done and so ready to have it all finished!  Practice was so hot and Madi was in a mood!  Today my friend Jessica came over and we made a garland to go around the front door for fall!  It isn't 100% done but I love it so far!
After we picked Kenzie up from school, the girls had to have their flu shots!  They did really good!  We went to sweet frog to get a treat for doing so good!
Bebe came over to hang out and daddy brought home dinner!!!  AND WE GOT A NEW FRIDGE TODAY!  I've had no ice or water for over a year!  I am so excited!

Week/end wrap up

Wednesday morning Scotty and I took Madison to the dermatologist to get the red spot on her eye looked at.  The doctor said it is common and not anything "bad" but does need to come off or it will keep growing.  We will make her an appointment with a occular plastic surgeon soon.  Afterwards we went to the mall and had breakfast and shopped a little bit.  Madison is loving having mommy and daddy to herself on Wednesdays!
Thursday morning Scotty had lunch with Makenzie at her school.  "Lunch" is at 10:40....
Scotty said she was so surprised and excited to see him waiting on her.  Later we had cheer practice.  Madison hasn't been to a practice lately and she was so excited to get back to cheering.
Friday morning I walked little miss to school.  She is so funny in the morning and has to walk about 5 steps in front of me to lead the way.  She will look back over her shoulder and make sure I'm still following her.
Madi and I met Amber and baby Reid at the park to play for a little while.  It was a nice cooler morning and the kids had a great time running around.

Madison and I ran a few errands and then we met back up with Amber for lunch at Olive Garden.  It was so good and then Madi and I came home to take a nap.  We picked sister up from school and then surprised her by taking her swimming at Amber's house.  She was so excited.  We hadn't been swimming since we were in Florida on vacation.
Saturday morning we had a football game to watch Kenzie cheer at.  It was rainy and cold and miserable at first.  It did stop raining and turned into a hot and humid last half of the game.  Kenzie did amazing and the Bulldogs won too!!!

The girls and I had a baby shower to go to right after the game and then came home for a nap to refuel for our gender reveal party that night.  Today Kenzie had cheer pictures.  I got her all dolled up and we got that knocked out first thing this morning.
After pictures Kenzie had her first tball practice for the fall season.  She went with her friend Joleigh so I could stay home and rest.   I woke up this morning with my allergies in full swing.  Sneezing, snotty and itchy eyes so bad.
I got a nap in while she was gone and when I woke up Laura, Jason and Bella were over watching football.  Scotty cooked up way too much food and we all had fun hanging out, eating and watching the Cowboys.  Unfortunately they lost but it was a good game.  My poor husband was good up until the last few minutes and then he took his routine nervous stance in front of the TV.
