Bed is complete

This morning I got to the gym super early and did a butts and guts class for an hour and then did team training for an hour and then stayed and worked some arms for a bit before grabbing CJ and heading home!  My polar watch said I had burned 1426 calories from when I put it on right before I left for the gym until when I took it off to get in the shower!  The kids did not play well together!  They fought and took things from each other and Madi was so mean to him!  I was relieved when his mommy came and we left to go get sister!  (Not that it was him at all--it was mostly Madi being mean). I tried to let her play on the playground while we waited on Kenzie but she kept crying and was cranky so we just grabbed Kenzie and left!  It was so nice out today and almost hot!  It didn't feel right to not play outside so we went out back and played for awhile!

Bebe and Papa came over for dinner tonight and even picked up the springy thing and matress for Madi's bed!  I made hamburgers and then dad and I worked on the bed!

I don't know what I would do without them!  They always come through when I need them!  I'm so glad they came over tonight!  Not just for the bed, sometimes I just need my mommy and daddy time!  Madi loves her new bed and looks so tiny sleeping in it!

She is still doing so good with potty training!  Scotty said this morning she had lots of accidents while I was at the gym, but I guarantee he didn't take her like I do!  She had one accident with me when I got home, but I'll take the blame because it had been awhile before I  asked her if she needed to go!  She is doing really well!

Furniture mishap

How is it that I have the worst luck ever!  Wednesday morning we all slept in!  I had already decided that I was going to do the afternoon class so I enjoyed my extra hour and a half of sleep!  When we got up I convinced Scotty to let me get a bedroom set I found off Craigslist for Madi.  It was brand new in the box and they would deliver it!  I spent all morning clearing out Mad's room and getting ready for it!  When they got here she said they couldn't fit the matress on the truck and would have to bring that back the next day. (You would think they would have told us that before they left their warehouse an hour and a half away instead of waiting until they got here) We paid them, minus for the matress, and made plans for them to come back out tomorrow!  We put together the dresser which is beautiful...

Then we put together the bed and realized it was missing the black springy thing that the matress sits on! 

All the screws were there and it showed how to attach it on the instructions but the piece wasn't there! 

I text the lady and told her and asked her to bring it when they brought back the matress.  She said it isn't included and was extra and a big fight happened!  Needless to say they didn't come back with the springy piece or the matress!  If it didn't come with it they should have said before that we needed it!  Why would we by half a bed? And why would the screws be there for it and the instructions show it if it didn't come with it?? Makes no sense!  I had to throw Madi's crib back together for the night so she would have a place to sleep!

We were so pissed!  Luckily my friend April and her husband own a furniture store and were able to order the piece and a matress for us, and it was cheaper!  Never buying something off craigslist again!

Tuesday tidbits

Tuesday morning started off with a workout session with my friends at the gym!  When I went to get Madi out of the kid room, I found her with Aubrey and Gracie laying down around a baby!! It was so cute!

Afterwards I took Madi and CJ to Target to get a few things!  Thank goodness for popcorn and icees!  

We came home for a bit and played before it was time to pick up sister!  Scotty got off work early and we made chicken quesadillas for dinner and played catch in the dark with a light up ball!  Good day!!! 

Big girl panties

I ran 4 miles today at the gym!  I couldn't believe it!  I stayed for team training and then sat in the sauna with the girls.  It was a great way to start the day!! When I got home Madi looked at me and scrunched up her nose and said, "peepee".  We ran to the potty and she went!  I put panties on her and not 10 minutes later she came running up and said peepee again!  She did great all day!  When we went to gymnastics I put a diaper over her panties!  She went on the potty while we were there and made it home dry!!!  I'm hoping we are on the road to being potty trained!

Sunday funday

Sunday morning I met up with my friend at the gym and got in a good workout.  We ended it by doing 30 minutes on the spin bike and burned over 1000 calories for the whole workout!  

When I got home we talked about taking the kids to do something fun!  My idea of the zoo was vetoed and we decided to go do some shopping and let Kenzie ice skate!

The girls looked so cute in their matching outfits!  My friend owns a boutique and had been getting super cute stuff in!  We went and had lunch right when we got there!  Afterwards Kenzie and I got in line for ice skating!

It was super crowded!  The last time we came was on a Wednesday morning and it was way less crowded!  Kenzie was so excited!

She did really good!  One time she skated by herself for a minute and then reached for the side and stuck her foot out behind her in an aerobesque!  Goofball tipped over and slid down to the ice!  She squealed and giggled the whole time!  We skated for about an hour and then had to leave!  Madi was getting fussy in the stroller with daddy!

We stopped at some stores trying to find Scotty some work shoes!  He didn't end up getting anything but I scored a few outfits at Victoria secret!  I was so excited!  They never have the pants I like and they had lots this time!!  We stopped off at Trader Joes on the way home to get a few things!  Kenzie was the buggy pusher!

We had never been there before but a few friends of mine had been talking about some stuff that I wanted to try!!  My night was made by watching gymnastics with my favorite big girl!  I love how excited she is about gymnastics!

Gymnastics play date

Friday morning we had a big play date at a local gymnastic place that was having an open house.  They had SO much fun!

I was suprised Madi wanted to do the bars!  She waited her turn and walked right up to the man and did everything he said!

She would jump down and run to the back of the line to do it again!!  Kenzie did really good and the coach was really impressed!

They got their faces painted at the end and again I was very suprised Madi sat on her lap and let her paint her face!!  I think I'm going to sign her up for a class!  We left there and grabbed some lunch before heading home!

Rainy day fun

Today was icky and rainy and even hailed on me on my way home from the gym!  It hailed so hard it made it look like it had snowed!  I got some pictures of Kenzie at school today.  It looks like she had fun playing like she was a veterinarian.  It was career week at school and they all brought a stuffed animals to practice on!  A police officer also came to talk to the class!

When I picked Kenzie up from school there was a poster outside with everyone's name and what they said they wanted to be when they grew up.....

Spiderman, really?  What happened to a doctor, preferably a plastic surgeon!!!  We came home and I gave the girls manicures and they loved using the nail dryer!

We snuggled and watched some cartoons while eating our snack!  Kenzie was in the middle of telling me something and Madi crept up slowly and snuck a kiss!

Kenzie got to have the bath to herself tonight and Madi stood on the side and played with toys!  I was getting their rooms ready for bed and heard squeals, laughs and then a splash!  

Madi rolled in!  After the shock wore off she was cracking up!  Love these silly girls!

RIP Oreo

This week I decided to add more cardio in!  The scale is playing games with my head and while I know the muscle weighs more and I am leaning out more, I just want to shed some more fat!!  I jogged, strait jogged, for 45 minutes!  No walking!  I've never lasted that long and was pretty impressed!  I had planned on stopping at 30 minutes but was surprised that I wasn't dying so I continued on!  We spent the rest of the day at the house cleaning and playing!  I tackled the kitchen and living room!  I finally dusted my ceiling fan that I had been putting off! Kenzie had gymnastics later on and Madi threw a FIT!  Screaming fit over nothing!  I got the sympathetic looks from moms in the hallway and of course the moms I talk to every week were reassuring me!  I was so embarrassed with her screaming in a concrete hallway echoing!  I sat her around the corner in "time out" and wouldn't let her come back until she was done! 20 minutes she did that!  This girl pushes my limits to the extreme! 

When we came home Kenzie wanted to make her own Shopkin movie for You Tube!  I didn't post it but it was cute watching her make it!

Tuesday I brought CJ home from the gym with me and Madi!  I decided to be brave and take them both to Costco!  They did perfect!

They had some snack samples as we walked around and I ended up buying both things we tried because they were healthy and Madi gobbled them up!  When we got home I put up some Valentine's Day decorations and made them lunch! 

CJ's mom came and got him and we picked up Kenzie from school and then Joleigh came over and the girls ran around and played while I cleaned the fish tank!  When I put him back in his tank he acted weird and not long after the poor thing was floating on his back!  I'm guessing the water was too warm!  Lord! Jo was very interested in watching and kept saying why isn't he swimming and at the time I hadn't put two and two together!  Luckily Kenzie didn't notice!  I'll be making a trip to Petsmart tomorrow!

I've been letting Kenzie wash herself in the bath but I still do her hair!  She stands up and puts her foot up on the side and washes her leg and foot!  Next thing I know Madi is up on her knees and flung her foot up on the side to wash her leg!

She wants to do everything her sister does!  (Don't mind the baby sitting spread eagle on the soap dish, I let her drain water that way)
