Happy Easter

Happy Easter!!  Kenzie woke up so excited that the Easter bunny came!  Madi woke up a grumpy bear and we had to wait a little to let her calm down!  

Kenzie found the golden egg right off!  Easter bunny needs to be a little more sneaky next year!

Madi would stop and open every egg and try to eat whatever was in it before moving on to the next egg.

Look at that hair!  She wakes up with some serious bed head!  After they found all the eggs we went over to Bebe and Papa's house for lunch!  The Easter bunny had stopped by there too and left a basket and eggs for them!  Kenzie found the golden egg again first thing!

We rested a little after lunch while the girls played!  Kenzie drove Madi around with her standing on the back of the bike and then she wanted Madi to drive her around!  Obviously she couldn't because she is too little so I got on and did t!  

We went to grandma and grandpas house for a little bit to visit with them!  I always forget to take pictures over there! We finally made it back home and played in the backyard for a bit!  The Easter bunny brought Kenzie a frisbee thing and we had fun playing with that!  The girls have also started playing like their swing set is a pirate ship and its fun to hear their imaginations!  It's mostly Kenzie bossing Madi around and Madi following her around!  At least they are playing together!

Saturday shenanigans

Saturday we packed up and went to Bebe and Papa's.  Madi had been super fussy the night before and had run a low grade fever and a dose of Bebe is just what she needed!  They played with more confetti eggs since mom bought 4 dozen....

The girls think this is the funniest thing ever!  We decorated some more cookies and then decided to go to the park for a little while!

We ordered pizza for dinner and then came home for baths and bed before the Easter bunny came!  (The Easter bunny had a lot of work to do)

Easter fun

Friday we hung out and did some Easter crafts!  We drained some eggs to make confetti eggs and then we painted them! 

I lowered Madi's swing outside and Kenzie loves putting her in it and pushing her!  She missed and put her in sideways and they thought t was hilarious!

We met Scotty for dinner and came home to surprise daddy with confetti eggs!  The girls thought they were being so sneaky and giggled the whole time!

I didn't realize the confetti was going to go in all the layers of our hair and be stuck!  So I vacuumed it out!

It worked!!  We dyed some Easter eggs with daddy and then called it a day!

Easter egg hunt at school

Kenzie had her Easter "party" on Thursday!  Her class made little baskets out of milk jugs and they had an Easter egg hunt!

Kenzie said she had so much fun!!  We came home and played some games and cooked dinner!  We decorated, and ate, Easter egg cookies after dinner!

Madison was more interested in the sprinkles!  

She's a mess!  We all snuggled together before calling it a night!!  Love these two girls more than anything!

Day drinking and the Easter bunny.....random title

Wednesday after the gym, I went for pedicures with my friend Shonda!  It was her birthday so we celebrated with wine at 10 in the morning!

From there we went for lunch and margaritas!  We had a great time but I think I'm too old for day drinking!  I was so tired the rest of the day!  Later on Kenzie and I met Korie and Dallas for cupcakes at this cute bakery downtown!

We came home and played outside for awhile and then got ready to see the Easter bunny!

We stopped for dinner on the way home and then got talked into helping Scotty move a bar upstairs to his man cave!  270 pounds is what we drug upstairs, flipped and turned it and went up some more stairs!  It was brutal but it looks good up there!

Easter fun

Saturday morning Bebe came over and we took the girls to an Easter thing our neighborhood was putting on!  We went last year and the kids had a blast!

It was freezing!!  The girls jumped in the bounce house!  It had a slide on it and Kenzie would help Madi climb up and slide down!  There was a little bully kid in there and we could hear Kenzie yell at him, "don't push my sister".  I was so proud of her!!  Bebe tried to go a little crazy on him but I reeled her back in!!  She's getting crazy in her old age!  I was waiting on his mom to come over to us!

They got some balloon animals, played a game, did an Easter egg "hunt" and played in the petting zoo!  We ended with snow cones and the Easter bunny!

OMG I almost forgot!  Kenzie wanted to climb a big rock wall!  I thought she was too little and figured she would freak out! I was more nervous than her!  She got strapped up and scaled the dang thing!  She is the bravest 4 year old I know!
