Amber and Reid invited us over to make pizzas one day for lunch. They had fun making their pizzas.
Last weekend we went to Bebe and Papa's house for the day. The kids had fun playing in the leaves and climbing trees.
On Sunday we played outside and did a little yard work. This house has 2 trees in the front but one is dead. The ring around it has the most crazy weeds and grass that grows up so tall so Scotty and Landon pulled it all up. And bubs picked me a flower.
Last week all 3 kids had dentist appointments. I'm not real sure what I was thinking because it was a disaster. This was Landon's first time going and he wasn't having it at all. She could barely pry his little mouth open. He kept calling for Kenzie over and over and was so happy to see her when he was done. Madison had a good check up but poor Kenzie.....her teeth are going to give us grief. She has a deformity on 2 of her back teeth that seems to be a cavity magnet. The dentist described it like having a flap on the side of the tooth which traps food and bacteria in there. She has to come back and have a filling done in a few weeks. She also has a chipped tooth, I think from chewing on ice, and the dentist says she has very thin gums that are receding.
Makenzie had her end of the season get together for volleyball. The coach gave out awards and medals and then the parents played a game against the kids. It was so much fun.
We also surprised daddy one day and put the Christmas tree up. Our tree from last year broke and we need to get a new one, but since we will be in our new house for next Christmas we decided to wait and not buy one this year. This is a spare Christmas tree that we used in the playroom last year. Not my favorite but it will do. This rental house just doesn't put me in the Christmas mood. It's too little and crowded that I don't want to put all my decorations out. If only all the rain would stop so that they could start on our new house.
Thursday night we had family pictures taken. I snapped a few while we waited on the photographer to get there. The day had been so nice and in the 70's, but halfway through our shoot the temperature dropped and poor Madison was freezing and shivering so much.
