All caught up

Saturday morning Autumn and I took the kids to the park to play for awhile!  The weather was supposed to get nasty later and we wanted them to run off some energy.

We went to lunch afterwards and we were all ready to get home and relax!  Sunday morning we went to a birthday party for Kenzie's little boyfriend Ryan!  Madison has been branching out a little and doing more brave things.  

They played a mean game of dodge ball before we left.

We came home and played in the backyard for awhile!  We put Landon on the trampoline for the first time and he loved it.

Monday we were back to the school routine!  I'm not going to lie--I did a little happy dance when I dropped them off!  I spent all week purging the house and getting it ready for our realtor to come take pictures and get our house listed.  Bebe came over Tuesday and entertained the kids so I could get some work done!  I touched up nail holes and and cleaned baseboards and blinds!  Wednesday we had our design appointment to pick out all our stuff for the new house.  It was so overwhelming and my head was spinning trying to pick out the perfect combos.  Later Amber dropped Paislee off to stay with us for awhile and then Scotty picked up Reid and Madi from school.  

Landon is going to give me a heart attack!  Thursday I found him on the first step and then he would throw his hands up and roll off the step.  The girls never did stuff like this.

Thursday night we went to an Easter dinner with the Easter bunny!  The kids were so excited.

By Friday he had mastered all the stairs. (I only let him do it once and I was right there the whole time)

This boy I swear!  Our realtor came over today and we got our pictures taken of the house and we should get it listed next week!  Then the real "fun" starts!

Spring break

Spring break was last week and we tried to do something fun everyday!  Sunday night Madison stayed the night with Paislee at her house and Rylee spent the night at our house.

Monday morning Landon had his 1 year cake smash pictures with Ashley!  Surprise, but he loved the cake!  

I snuck a picture in while he was digging in.  Later that afternoon I took Kenzie and Rylee to Painting with a Twist to paint a unicorn. Madison went and played with Paislee at Autumn's house!

They had a lot of fun!  Tuesday I took the girls to McDonalds to play and eat lunch. We met Amber there and the kids had fun running around.

Wednesday morning Landon had his 1 year check up!  The doctor said he is perfect and we agree!

 Autumn and I took the girls to see Peter Rabbit at the movies later. Bubba stayed home with daddy and slept off his shots.

When we got home we decided to take a walk and ended up at the park for a few hours!  Bubs loves the slide!

Later on Scotty took the girls, and Rylee, to Shenanigans to play and eat dinner!  Bubs and I stayed home and cleaned!  Well I tried.  This boy is everywhere.  Climbing in my cabinets and throwing dishes out, picking trash out of the trash can and throwing balls all over the house.

Thursday the girls went to open gym at a gymnastics place!  I was able to sneak away and get a pedicure!  When we got home they were whining and complaining about being bored so I told them to go outside and play.  A few minutes later I turn around to see them standing at the door begging to come in.

That evening I took them to Urban Air to play!  Bebe was over so she went too.  Afterwards we all went out to eat and have a much needed drink.

Friday morning a bunch of us met up at the zoo.  It was the busiest I have ever seen it, but we had fun!

The carousel makes me dizzy so I stayed back and loved on this sweet thing while they rode.

They all fell asleep on the way home and we spent the rest of the night being lazy!

That wraps up our spring break week!  It was loaded with friends and fun!

Landon is 12 months

My sweet bubba is already 1 year old!  I have been in denial for awhile but it happened anyways!  He brings out family so much happiness and we love him so much!  

He had his checkup last week and weighs 21 pounds 11 ounces which is in the 57%.  He is 30.5 inches long and in the 74% and his head is 18.25 inches and in the 52%.  His doctor said he looks perfect and we agree!  He wears 12 and 18 month clothes and a size 3 or 4 shoe.  Size 4 diapers are getting a little snug but we are using up what we have.

This boy is wild!  All over the place and on the move constantly!  There is nothing safe from him when he is on the move!  He is starting to cruise along the couch and taking some steps with his walking toy!  It won't be long I'm sure!  He has started giving the biggest hugs and will wrap both his little arms around your neck and squeeze.  It is the best thing ever!  Occasionally he will blow kisses and his wave bye bye is the cutest!  

We are trying to get him changed over to milk and he is doing pretty good!  He gets 3 bottles a day and they are 6 ounces of milk and 2 ounces of formula!  Once we get him to strait milk I will start getting him on the sippy cup!  I offer him a sippy cup all day but he is very stubborn with it. Food on the other hand....he loves!  He will eat anything we give him and I don't think would stop if we didn't quit feeding him.  Sweet hungry boy!

We love him so much and can't wait to see what the next year brings!

Landon's Birthday Party

I had so much fun planning Landon's party.  I admit that I did procrastinate a little....ok a lot.  The girl's 1st parties had already been planned way before I even started on Landon's.  It still turned out super cute.

 We had a bounce house in the backyard for the kids and they stayed out there the whole time playing.  Landon loved going down the slide.

The girls loved going down with him but he really liked going down himself and would do a little roll at the bottom.

 

 

 The whole family went down the slide at the end of the party. 

We went to dinner with some friends after his party to celebrate some more!!  He had a lot of cake on his birthday party day. 

 It was the perfect day celebrating our little bubba!
