Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas!!  The girls had us up right at 7 saying that Santa had come.

 Makenzie picked us all out gifts from the shop at her school.  She got Scotty a keychain and was so proud to give it to him.   We had a special surprise in the backyard for the kids.

Makenzie was so excited.  Landon woke up just as we were finishing up gifts.  He was excited to sit in his ball pit.

After we ate breakfast and got dressed we headed to Bebe and Papa's house to celebrate with them. 

 We ate a delicious lunch and then headed to our third celebration of the day.  We went to Heidi and Rob's house for our friend's Christmas.  The girls all drew names and did a secret Santa gift exchange.  It was fun watching them all get so excited to give each other their gifts.

 The kids all played while the adults played games.  I have never laughed so hard in my life.  The kids all had a slumber party afterwards at Autumn and Chris' house.  This was Madison's first sleepover and she was so excited.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve we took some pictures in front of the Christmas tree before heading to Grandma and Grandpa's to celebrate. 

 

Before picture time I had all 3 kiddos in the bath.  This was Landon's first time to take a bubble bath as well as be in the bath with both sisters. 

He had the time of his life.  It was so cute seeing them all play together.  Landon ate most of the bubbles but his giggles were worth it.   Later on we went to Angela's house to celebrate Christmas with Scotty's side of the family. 

 

We had a great time.  The kids opened some presents and played and we all hung out for awhile.  We got stuck in traffic on the way home and our 25 minute ride turned into an hour and a half.   When we got home we all got ready for bed and set out the reindeer food and cookies before heading off to sleep.

A little family dinner

Last Sunday we had my family over for dinner and to watch the Cowboy game.  Bebe, Papa and Travis came over and Austin.  It was so nice to have everyone over.  We had a yummy dinner and then Landon dug into some whip cream. 

Dad broke the news to us kids that he had some biopsies taken of his prostate and one came back cancerous.  I immediately felt like my whole world was coming crashing down on me.  We all decided to try not to panic until he has his consultation next week. Uncle Austin stayed after Bebe and Papa went home.  The kids had a blast wrestling with him and he got them nice and wound up before bed.

 

School Parties

The girls had their school Christmas parties.  Madison made a cute reindeer ornament and played some cute games. 

 Kenzie's party was the next day.  She woke up not feeling 100% but wasn't running fever so we headed to her party.  They made snowman ornaments and decorated snowman cookies.

I took Kenzie home after her party and we started our Christmas break.
