I wanted to get Makenzie's eyes checked before school started since at the end of last year the Dr recommended maybe trying glasses this year. She did great and we did decide to get a pair of glasses with a low prescription. She looks adorable in them.
Madison had meet the teacher that Wednesday. Her teacher is so sweet and I'm so glad she will be in her class this year.
We went to dinner afterward with Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Malon and we got to meet her new husband Peter.
Thursday night Makenzie had meet the teacher. She seems super nice and I think it is going to be a great year.
Friday morning I took the kids to get haircuts. We were there when they opened and thank goodness because by the time we left there was an hour wait.
That night we got a date night with some friends. We really went wild and played some bingo. We did go have a few drinks afterward. It was nice to sneak away for a little while.
