Frozen on Ice

Today was an exciting day for Kenzie!  Months ago I got her tickets to Frozen on Ice and it was finally time to take her!!!  Bebe went with us and Scotty stayed home with Madison!!  We had such a good time and Makenzie loved it!

We had amazing seats and Kenzie was so focused on the show the entire time!!! She sang and danced to the songs and had a blast!

When we got home she had another surprise waiting on her!!!  Scotty and Papa had put together her trampoline!

She was so excited!

They love laying down and having Scotty or I bounce them!!  Scotty made us dinner and we spent the rest of the night playing and then a game of light ball (that's what we call it)

Friday and Saturday

Friday we had our trampoline play date and thank goodness the girls behaved and we were able to stay the whole time!!!

Gah, she looks so big here!!!!  We headed home afterwards so Madi could nap and Kenzie and I played some games and ate lunch!!! We played outside with Sarah and Kylie for a little while but it was pretty chilly so we didn't stay out too long!

Bebe came over later on and we spent the rest of the night playing and hanging out!!!  Saturday we ran a few errands and then Bebe headed home and I got the girls ready to go to the Spring Fling that our neighborhood was having!!  I almost didn't go but I'm so glad that we did!!

It was so much fun, and hot!  We all got a little sunburned!! We started by jumping and sliding in the bounce houses and playing some games!  The Easter egg hunt was next and she did great!  Madi wasn't too sure what was going on but she grabbed an egg that was close by!  I had promised Kenzie a snow cone after the hunt so we went and got that next and finished up with pony rides and the petting zoo!!!  I love making these memories with my girls!!!

Reward day....Chuckee Cheese

Today was very laid back, fun and productive.  Kenzie woke up with her gloves still on and she didn't suck her thumb all night!!  She was so proud of herself.   Scotty took Makenzie to Chuckee Cheese today since she got all her coins in her jar. (We have a reward/discipline system and it is working so far.  I have 2 jars, one is hers and 1 is mine.  Chuckee coins start in mine and when she is good or does something nice she gets to move a coin into her jar, when she is bad or mean she loses a coin from her jar.  When she has all the coins in her jar she gets to go to Chuckee)

 While Madi took a nap I made an Easter wreath and hung up a bunch of picture frames that I had been meaning to get up!

When Scotty and Makenzie got home we played outside for a little while but it was pretty chilly today so it didn't last long.  Kenzie LOVES riding her "big" bike now.

We spent the rest of the afternoon playing and straitening up the house a little.  Kenzie had dance practice and then we had Jon and Tarina over for dinner.   Scotty cooked out fajitas and the kids played outside.

Soccer, shopping and playing

We all had a much better night last night! Everyone slept in their own beds all night!  Thank God!  We headed out to Kenzie's last soccer practice!!

 She said she wanted to play again so we signed her up for another session!!

After soccer we went with Sarah and Kylie to run a few errands!  It was a gorgeous day so we we decided to go to Firewheel and walk around!

We came home for naps and then I took the girls out back to play before dinner!  This was the first time Madi has been able to walk around and climb on everything!!

She is a daredevil and was climbing on everything!  Her big sissy would help her get on the swing set so she could slide!

Bebe had asked for a close up picture of Makenzie's eyes.  I kept trying and trying and she finally got mad and scrunched up her nose and told me no more pictures!

Scotty came home and we ate dinner as a family and went outside to ride bikes afterwards!!!  Sarah and I ran some errands and left the dads to tend to the kiddos!!!  Kenzie slept in her "magic Elsa gloves" for the first time!  Hopefully she leaves them on all night and this helps her stop sucking her thumb!

So....tired.....

I'm running today off spark and caffeine!!!  Horrible night last night!! Kenzie woke up to go to the bathroom, Madi woke up screaming so I brought her in bed with me!  Not 10 minutes later I hear the bedroom door open and its Kenzie coming to get in bed with me!  Madi never went back to sleep and Kenzie did so I took Madi to the couch and we dozed off and on (more off than on) until 7 freaking o'clock! Sarah and Kylie came over to keep us company and I'm so glad because she kept my energy up and I got a ton done around the house!  

We took our princess's to the park to play!

We came back home so Madi could nap and Kenzie and I played for a bit! I miss not getting as much one on one time with her lately!! Scotty came home and grilled us out a delicious dinner!  We went back outside and rode bikes and drew with sidewalk chalk!  All our neighbors were out walking and enjoying the gorgeous weather and it was nice meeting everyone!

A day full of parks and playing

Yesterday I took the girls to the park to play and we met up with a few friends!!!

I love this last picture!!! Kenzie climbed up a rope ladder that she hadn't been able to do before and was so excited!  We have a thing we do where when we give a thumbs up we touch thumbs!!!  Such a sweet girl!

Laura and Bella showed up and the girls were so excited to see each other!!!!  This was our first park trip since Madi has become mobile!  She was all over the place!!

Sarah and Kylie came later and we played until we were starving for lunch!!! We grabbed lunch and ran a few errands and went home so Madi could take a nap!!  I took the girls outside for a little bit before dinner and Madi must have worked up an appetite because she ate 3 bowls of spaghetti!  She was shoveling it in her mouth!

After dinner we took a walk with Sarah, Kylie and Cody! We walked to the park to play for awhile and made it back home right as it was getting dark!!!! It was a full day for sure and we had so much fun!!  

Weekend wrap up

Friday....where to start??  We headed to our usual Friday play date at Urban Air and did ok for about an hour! 

Then both my kids decided to alternate temper tantrums!  Kenzie cried and kicked around and Madi would fling herself down on the trampoline and cry and not let anyone touch her!

After many attempts to calm them, and threats, we left in a crying, screaming, everyone looking at us dramatic way!!!  I was so mad!!!  We got home and they both went straight to bed! I had just fallen asleep too when the little one woke up in a much better mood!!

Kenzie woke up happier too!!!  We played around the house and then Bebe came over to spend the night!!!  We played games, had a dance party with baby dolls and made rice Krispy treats and turned a bad morning into a fabulous night!

Saturday we headed out to do some shopping!!!  Kenzie wasn't feeling so well so we went home after a few stores to relax!!  After some cuddles with Bebe while watching Frozen she was good to go!!!  Scotty brought home dinner and we hung out until bedtime!!!  (I can't believe I didn't take a picture ALL day)

This morning Kenzie and I went to the movies to see Cinderella!  Sarah and Kylie met us up there too!

They threw pennines into the fountain and it was the cutest thing watching them talk about their wishes!

Kenzie did really good!  The movie was a little too mature for her but had a cute Frozen clip at the beginning.  When we left I asked her if she liked the movie and she said "I liked the Frozen part by I didn't watch the other movie".  Not sure what she did for the other 2 hours but she was quiet and still!!  Scotty grilled out burgers tonight for dinner and they were amazing!  He picked up his grill today and was dying to use it!

After dinner I had to head out to do my volunteer shift for the Just Between Friends sale!  It was supposed to be 7-midnight but we finished at 10:30.  We are looking forward to the spring temps this week and many park play dates!!!
