Fun day!!

Today, my amazing husband let me sleep in until 10:00.   Madison was actually still asleep too!!  I couldn't believe it!!  We went on a walk with Sarah and Kylie to get a workout in!  I slept through the gym today and didn't get to go yesterday so I really wanted to get some cardio in!

I also got a sunburn with my cardio!!!  We power walked a little over 3 miles and pushing the double stroller added a lot of resistance!!  When we got home the girls had a picnic in the backyard followed by Popsicles and jumping on the trampoline!

Kenzie found a ladybug and was so excited to hold it!  Poor Madi wanted to get ahold of it so bad!  She kept poking at it saying "bugga bugga".  I put it on her hand and she loved it!!!  Madison laid down for a nap and Kenzie and I did some puzzles!  When she got up I never put her pants back on and discovered that she knows how to take her diaper off! 

She came running in with it down around her ankles!!  Tonight was Kenzie's last dance class!  I don't think she was really into it anyways!  When I told her it was her last class she clapped her hands and said "yay".  I however enjoy dance class because of all the sweet moms I met!  I will miss our Thursday night visits but I know we will still see each other and already have play dates scheduled!!  We ended our day with snuggles in my bed watching Mickey Mouse!  Madison was cracking me up with the faces she was making!!  And she stole my phone and took some selfies!

Blessings

I finally feel content!!!  I don't really know how to explain it, but it's just a feeling!  I have everything that I need and want, and more!  I'm staying at home with my kids which is something I have always wanted to do!  It's something that I always talked myself out of and it has turned into the best decision I have ever made!!!  Sure there are day that I would love to be anywhere but trapped in the house with two monsters, but the good days over shadow those days!!! I was always scared I wouldn't be able to have Kenzie in activities while working due to getting home too late!  With me staying home she has been able to do soccer and dance and is about to start gymnastics!!  I have as much fun taking her and watching her as she does doing it!!  We have moved into an amazing house that we all love!  It fits us but we still have room to grow!  (Maybe another baby.....) We all have our own space and I LOVE making memories together here!  The move has also allowed us to make new friends!  We have the most amazing neighbors ever!!!  Kenzie has made a lifelong friends right next door and her momma has quickly become mine!! With so many kids all around us I can't wait to watch them all outside playing and riding their bikes!!  

I have been going to the gym and have changed my diet and I'm finally seeing results!  It feels so good to see a difference in my body and I feel so much better!  Going to the gym has become my alone time!!  I'm able to go and turn on my music and for an hour and a half its just me!!  Scotty and I have been making some financial changes and have started to see a gain finally!!! It's time to start investing in our future and our kids college!!  Our next step is to do a will!  I finally feel like with all these changes that have been made in the last year that I am finally where I'm supposed to be!  I feel so blessed with everything and everyone in my life!!

Saturday we went to a fun birthday party that Kenzie was invited to!  It was at a martial arts place and was awesome!  They had a show team that put on a demonstration and then the students got the kids and did one on one activities and then basically got to do a regular class!  Kenzie had a blast!

Tuesday.....I mean Monday

I woke up convinced it was Tuesday!  I guess I just wanted to skip over Monday!!

We spent the morning cleaning and playing and then the plummer came by to check out our toilet!!  I sent Scotty a text teasing him that the "problem" was his fault, a little more detailed!  Only....I didn't send it to Scotty, I sent it to a group text message with the other cheer coaches (that I have never met but supposed to meet later that night for a meeting).  Oops!  

Later on I got us dressed and ready to go to my cheer meeting!  It was at McDonalds, my least favorite place next to Chuckee Cheese to go.  We get there a little bit early and go ahead and order food and then grab a table for all of us! Kenzie slipped and slid across the floor on her back and started her LOUD crying and wouldn't stop!  After I persuaded her to take a breath so she didn't pass out I got her to calm down and then sent a text to the other moms telling them we were there and had a table!!  The replies I got back were, "I thought it was tomorrow", "wait is it Tuesday", it's not tonight".....oops again!  I'm seriously losing my mind!  Not only did I send them a disgusting toilet text message but I showed up early and on the wrong night for our meeting!!  We ate our "yummy" food and then Kenzie played on the germ free playground!!  You would think my McDonalds dinner couldn't get worse, but then Kenzie pooped her pants!  Not a regular poop either!! What the hell?  We capped off our trip with an ice cream and called it a day!

Friday fun

Today was a nasty rainy day!  I went to the gym first thing and had an amazing workout.  I'm down 13 pounds since I started and I feel great with my progress.  I did some cleaning up around the house and then Sarah and Kylie came over and spent the day.  The girls played so good together.  They kept going in Kenzie's room with toys so we watched them on the monitor.  They were having a sleep over with their babies.  Sweet girls.  

 My poor parents had their 6th flood in their house today.  A pipe busted in their foundation and flooded their living room.  They had to turn their water off and came to spend the weekend at our house.  Kenzie is in heaven.  Madi threw a temper tantrum and was put to bed at 7 so she missed out on all the fun.  Kenzie helped Bebe sew up her pillow and put on dance shows for us.

Family bluebonnet pictures

I was so excited to see my cd of pictures in the mail today!!  There are some really cute ones and I'm very happy with them.  I wish I could have gotten some of the girls together and of Madi by herself, but she wasn't having it.

 

Sweet Kenzie

I was washing dishes the other day and kept hearing "f*** you up" over and over.  I went in there and Kenzie was sitting on my bed singing Up Town Funk You Up but it sure didn't sound like it!!

Kenzie was so proud of herself for drawing a family picture of all of us.  This is the first picture I have seen her draw that has a face and arms!!!  Love this family portrait.

 Kenzie wanted to help me clean today so I gave her the chore of vacuuming!!  She loved it.  Her little sissy wanted to help and she leaned over and helped Madi hold the vacuum.  She is so sweet to her baby sister!!!

Dance pictures

Today I got my little princess ready for her dance pictures!!!  Her hair was in a perfect little bun and she had her eye shadow, mascara and lip gloss on!!

She looked adorable!!!  We got to the studio and put on her costume and I almost cried!  Total cuteness overload!

They also did their routines for the parents to see!! Adorable!!

I can't wait to get the professional pictures in!!!

Monday!!!

It's Monday!!!   I started the day off by going to the gym!!  Whoop whoop!!!  The girls and I got ready afterwards and ran to Target for a few things!  Yeah right---I can never go in and get just a few things!!!  After lunch and naps we went outside to jump for a few hours!  I got crazy and did some flips and cheer jumps!  Kenzie said "wow mommy, your good at mastics".

I made chicken spaghetti and then we attempted some bluebonnet pictures with Sarah, Kylie and Cody!!  Still a disaster!  I'm over it now!!  I did get a few previews of the pictures from yesterday!

And this....

Stinker!!!  We capped off the night with a glass of wine on the driveway watching the kids run around!!  Parenting at its finest!

And Scotty brought me home a new car!!! I have been test driving and researching cars and decided on the Highlander and I LOVE it!!!

Anniversary weekend

Friday Sarah watched the girls for me so I could run and get a few last minute things for Scotty for our anniversary!!!  5 years today!  5 LONG wonderful years!!!  So much has happened in 5 years and it doesn't really seem long enough for 2 houses, vacations and 2 kids!  Glad I have him to go through life with!! We played at Sarah's house for a little while and then spent the rest of the afternoon outside!!  So glad we have neighbors that love being outside as much as we do!  The kids blew bubbles, rode bikes, played soccer and jumped on the trampoline!  I have a farmers tan from it but that's ok!!!

I made Scotty a "bouquet" that I thought he would enjoy!!

I woke up Saturday in a cleaning mood!  I deep cleaned my bedroom, the girls bathroom, kitchen and vacuumed the whole downstairs and did 3 loads of laundry all before noon!  We spent the rest of the afternoon playing outside again!!! It is so hot already!!!  Mom and dad came over to watch the girls so Scotty and I could go out to eat for our anniversary!

We had a good time out without the kiddos!  We were able to take our time and enjoy each other's company!!  Madi is having a rough time with these molars and is waking up just clawing in her mouth at her teeth!  So sad!  I brought her to bed with me so she wouldn't wake Kenzie up!  Needless to say I had a restless night!  This morning came way to fast!  We mostly laid around and played!  I was able to sneak in a nap while Madi took a nap!  The afternoon was spent attempting pictures again!  We drove all the way out to Ennis to take pictures in the bluebonnets!  Madi sat still for about one picture then screamed and cried and would walk off from where we were taking pictures!  Got some cute ones of Kenzie though!

We stopped for dinner on the way home and then had our family jump time before bed!

We spend more time wrestling than we do jumping! The girls giggle the whole time!!!  Such a fun way to end our night!!
