Real life baby doll

Kenzie has been cracking me up with the things she says! This morning she saw some candy wrappers on Scotty's table by his chair!  She couldn't believe it and grabbed them and walked very sassy like into the bedroom to him and said "hey.....why did you eat my candy out of my bucket" and stood there for an answer!  I died laughing!  She had such an attitude!  When I picked her up from school, her teacher said Kenzie had her laughing all day with things she was saying!  She told her "my tummy hurt because mommy made spaghetti".  I assured her I haven't cooked, anything, in a long time!  She also said she told her "my daddy ate all my candy in my bucket"!  I laughed and told her that was true!  She is so funny!  She was in heaven in the car because I had gotten her a slushy and popcorn from Target when I stopped by!  She said "hey why you go to target but not me".  Apparently we go to Target too much!  We came home and had a fun, relaxing night!  Both girls were great! 

This little girl cracks me up!!!  Kenzie was playing with her baby dolls all night and I suprised her and put Madi in her stroller! OMG I'm pretty sure that was the hilight of her whole life!  She pranced around with her in her stroller!  She brought her a blanket and a baby doll paci and bottle! 

Sweet Madi just took it!  She stayed in there for awhile, almost 30 minutes!  It was their first time actually "playing" together!  I loved it!!! 

Monday...

I picked Kenzie up from school yesterday and had to change her diaper.  When I went to get her down from the changing table she tilted her head and pointed her finger at me and said very matter of factly "pick me up mommy and don't put me down, don't put me down".  Made me laugh!!  We went home and Koko and Dallas came over to visit!

They missed each other and played so sweet together!!

This sweet girl hung out and smiled all night with us!!  

I tried to switch it up for bedtime story since the other night didn't work out so well!

Madi liked sitting in her bumbo much better!

It wasn't time for her to eat yet, so after we got sister tucked in for bed I put her in the "backpack" and cleaned up a little and did some stuff on the computer!

I couldn't stand still or she started to squirm so I stood at the counter and did squats with her!  It was a good little workout and she was content!!  

Daddy is home

Daddy is home!!!  He got home Friday afternoon and we are so glad he is back!!  Kenzie was glued to him all night!!!  We played outside with the ladybugs.

She gets so excited when she sees them!  This one was on her car and she went crazy jumping up and down and squealing!!!

Madison LOVES her bath!  She kicks and splashes and squeals!!  It is so cute!

Saturday we ran some errands and then went to Bebe's to feed the kiddos and take a nap!!

Madi has been holding and playing with her toys!  I'm convinced she is teething!  She will go to town sucking on her fists and is drooling like crazy!!

Saturday night was rough!  Scotty worked late and Madi was very fussy and I couldn't get her to sleep!  We attempted to read a story to Kenzie before bed, but she wacked Madi in the head and set her off into a crying fit!

I was "lucky" enough to catch it with pictures!!  Sweet girls!  I finally got both girls asleep about 10, way later than normal!  Both girls woke up at 2:30.  WTH.  I fed Madi while Scotty discovered Kenzie had peed all in her bed and had to change her and her sheets!!  Madi must have been teasing me when she slept all night because we haven't had a repeat since!!

This morning we went out for a family breakfast!!  Both girls were great and we were even able to stop off and grocery shop!!  We are home now cleaning and getting things ready for the week!!!

A full nights sleep

Madison slept in her own bed last night--ALL FREAKING NIGHT!!!  I laid her down at 9 and I woke up refreshed at 6 to find her still sleeping!! I got 8 full hours of sleep!!!  Her being in her room means I can watch my shows in my room before bed, or have the light on!!  I am so ready to get the pack n play out of my room and get the clutter put away!!!  I hope this continues!!!

Bluebonnet Retakes

My sweet neighbor took some pictures of the girls in the bluebonnets Wednesday night!  They turned out so cute!

She did an amazing job and I'm so glad I have these!!! (Instead of my failed attempt)

Just another manic Monday

Madison went to bed early last night so she woke up earlier than normal to eat!  I fed her about 12:30 and was back up about 3 to Makenzie covered in pee!  After a quick wipe down, a change of pajamas and sheets, I was able to sleep until 5:45!!  Who needs sleep anyways.....overrated! Bebe took Kenzie to school so I was able to stop at the store on the way to work and get some much needed groceries!!

Madison helped me cook dinner tonight!

We went outside to wait on Bebe to come over!!  Kenzie kept telling me to "listen" to the birdies!

We took a picture to send to daddy too.

After dinner, we wrapped Kenzie's arm up so she could take a bath!

I can't wait to get this dang cast off!!  Kenzie helped Bebe make some cookies while I walked around with Madi in the "backpack" trying to keep her awake and content! I'm determined to feed her later so she sleeps longer!

I saw Kenzie on Bebe's phone and when I asked what she was doing, she said "calling my daddy" very matter of factly!!  She talked to her daddy for awhile and kept telling him "I love you and I miss you". It was so cute!

Easter weekend

We had such a fun weekend celebrating Easter!!  Saturday we went to Bebe and Papa's house to dye eggs!  

Kenzie brought her Frozen movie for her and Papa to watch!  I think they were both equally excited!

She also helped Papa in the garage for a little while!!  

Sunday morning we woke up to find the Easter bunny had come!!

Kenzie even found the golden egg with money in it!  She was so excited!!

Madi even got some eggs!

Love this little stinker!!  

There were even eggs outside, that silly bunny!!  Kenzie likes to open every egg she finds before she puts it in her basket!!  Our Easter egg hunt lasted forever!!

We loaded up and went to Bebe and Papa's house, and the Easter bunny had been there too!!  Kenzie found all the eggs while Madison hung out in a contraption Bebe rigged up for her!

We had Easter lunch and then headed home to get Scotty packed up to go to Houston for the week!  He got a promotion at work and is now in Finance and has to go to finance school!  I am so happy for him! My mom came over to have a slumber party with us and help with the girls!!!
