Kindergarten/preschool pictures

The other day I took some school pictures of the girls!  I think they turned out pretty cute!!

Madison's first day of Preschool

We got big sister off to school and then it was Madi's turn!  She was excited all morning to go to school like big sister!

We took some pictures before we left and then headed to her school!

She gave her teacher their cookies and a big hug and turned around for a picture!  I was so shocked! I gave her a big hug and she went in with no tears!  I was so proud of her!

Then I headed to my first day of work!  My day went pretty good!  Learning their new electronic medical records was tough, by I'll get it!  It felt good to get back in there and work with patients!  I got off at 2 and headed to pick up Madi!  I was so excited to hear about her day!

She was sleeping so good!  Sweating and snoring!  My sweet baby!  I got her and we went and picked up sister!  She was pretty grumpy but I did manager to hear that she had a good day and wants to go back!!  

Weekend wrap up and new beginnings

This past weekend Scotty and I got to have a night out with friends!  The girls stayed with Bebe and Papa and we went to dinner with Amber and her husband Jacob!  Afterwards we went to Escape Room.  We were locked in a room with clues and given a backstory and had an hour to find our way out!  It was very intense but fun!  

We made it out and even made it on the leaderboard with our fast score!  We went back to Amber's house to play games and laughed way past our bedtime!  It was so fun!  Sunday morning Amber and I met my friend Jamie at Divine Consign to do some shopping for the kids! It was a bust!  I got 5 things.....literally 5 things!  I was so disappointed!  We decided to go to a few Kid to Kids around the area and ended up finding some cute stuff!

We stopped for pedicures on the way home and then I dropped them off at their houses!  I spent the rest of the night loving on the girls and getting our stuff ready for Monday!  Tomorrow is a big day for me and Madi!  She starts her first day of preschool and I start my new job!!  I will be working 2 days a week (Tuesday/Thursday while Madi is at preschool) from 9-2 at a pediatric office 5 minutes from the house.   This job completely fell into my lap and was too good to be true!  An old office manager that I worked with called me to see if I was looking to work and I explained my situation!  She asked what I would be willing to do and they accepted!  When the baby comes I will get an extended maternity leave through the summer and then start back when the kids go back to school.  I'm nervous but excited at the same time!  It will be nice to get out of the house and do something for "me" and not feel guilty about missing out on stuff with the kids!  I will still be able to take both of them to school and pick them up!  Madison on the other hand isn't as excited as I am about tomorrow! We read her preschool book tonight and talked about it but I know tomorrow is going to be awful!

12 weeks

This is my last week in my first trimester!!!  I'm feeling great!  My exhaustion is getting better.  I still love a nap but I have been making it through the day without one!  I haven't really had any cravings but I'm definitely eating ALOT!  I'm so hungry all the time!!  I think I have felt the baby move a couple of times.  It isn't consistent and not very hard but feels like a bubble popping against the inside of my stomach.  I still haven't heard back from the doctor on my genetic testing but hopefully will soon!

I finally got our pictures back that we had done on our vacation!  They are perfect and I love them!!

And we had her take one for our pregnancy announcement too.

It's Fri-Yay

We made it to Friday!!  Kenzie says she still loves school so that's a plus!  She likes to walk to school in the mornings which has been nice because it gets the rest of us up and dressed for the day!  Wednesday Scotty took her because Madi slept too late and she heard the door opening and ran out to give her sissy a big hug before she left.

Thursday Madi and I went to Amber's house to take some preschool pics of the kids!  

This is the only one I took with my phone.  The rest are on my big camera and I haven't downloaded them yet!  I got some cute ones of her and Reid!!  When I picked Kenzie up from school she told me her tummy was kind of hurting and she had "something nasty happen in the bathroom". Those were her words but I will spare you the details!  We decided to stay home and rest so we skipped cheer practice!  This morning Madi and I walked Kenzie to school and then took the long way home to get in some more walking!  Madison had meet the teacher at her school.  She starts Tuesday so we went and met her sweet teachers and showed her her classroom!  It went about as well as I expected!  She wanted nothing to do with either teacher and everything was "no".

I tried to get a picture of her and her teachers but she didn't want to stand by either one of them so this is the best I got!  Tuesday morning is going to be interesting!  Afterwards we ran a few errands and then met Amber and Reid for lunch!  

The two cuties were WILD!  We made it though and came back home to nap before picking sister up from school!  We have a nice relaxing weekend planned that will hopefully recharge us for next week, which is super busy!!!

Second day.....good so far

I woke up yesterday morning to find someone snuggled up next to me that snuck in in the middle of the night!  She better be glad she's cute!

I took Kenzie to school and she found her class all by herself and was excited to go again!  She did say, "I'll go today and then we'll take a break tomorrow".  Sorry kid!  This is your life now!  Madi and I spent the day with Amber and baby Reid!  We went shopping at the mall for maternity clothes and then had lunch at Jason's Deli.

Madi and I decided to walk to Kenzie's school to pick her up!  It was about 100 degrees hotter than I thought it would be and we won't be doing that again for awhile!  She was so excited to see us!  She came running out and said, "mama I made 3 new friends".  I asked her what their names were and she said, "oh I don't remember but we played on the playground together".  Sweet girl!  I hope she makes tons of friends!

We came home and the girls wrestled while I started sorting clothes to sell at the JBF consignment sale coming up!

Kenzie had cheer practice and it was so HOT!  Thank goodness Madi stayed home with Scotty because she would have been miserable!  We came home and rushed through a shower and into bed!  Makenzie was asleep before I even left her room I think!  Poor girl had a long day!!
