Monday I jumped back in the gym and started off the week right. I upped my calories burned, my distance and my time. I worked out legs and went home feeling amazing. The girls and I loaded up and headed out to the park to play. I met a new mommy to chat with and Kenzie ran around with little girls and played. I love watching her interact and meet new people and see how she plays.
We all had so much fun. Later that night we met up with Bebe and Papa so I could pick up a romper I borrowed form a friend that my mom picked up for me. We decided to grab some dinner at Cici's and Kenzie suckered her Bebe and Papa into playing some games.
This little girl loves her papa so much! I'm pretty sure the feeling is mutual and he is pretty much wrapped around her little finger. While we were eating dessert, Madi kept giving us all the sad face. I couldn't take it anymore and I gave her some cinnamon roll. She is so dang close to 1 which is when we can start trying different foods to see how she does with it. She loved it and kept waving her hands around and smiling so big. (she did great through the night so I'm hopeful that she has outgrown her milk protein allergy)
This morning I went back to the gym to workout. I was rocking my workout and my phone kept ringing but I kept ignoring it. Then my dad called so I answered. He informed me that the fire department had been dispatched to our house on a house fire call and our alarm company had called him since I didn't answer. Ooops! I jumped off the treadmill and hauled butt home. I passed the fire truck leaving as I was turning on our street. Scotty set off the alarm cooking again.....oops! He is going to be banned from cooking. I was so bummed I had to cut my workout short...I was trying something new and could tell a huge change. When Madi woke up from her nap, I loaded the girls up and we headed to the park so I could take some pictures of Madi for her birthday. Since she hates being sat down and have me walk away to have pictures taken, I though maybe she would do better with me. I think they turned out cute.
After I wiped her down and let her big sissy have a turn with the sucker, we went to the playground to play. Kenzie of course met a new friend and was busy playing the whole time. I ran into a friend that I hadn't seen in YEARS. It was so nice to catch up. This park is so fun. We love coming here.
Her favorite part is the sandbox for sure. We left there and were headed home and I almost forgot that we had packed a picnic so we stopped off at another park by our house. After we ate lunch Kenzie ran off to play and instantly made friends and started running around with a pack of kids.
The little girl that was there last time we came to this park, Queen Elsa, was there again and Kenzie was so excited to play with her!!! Her mom and I chatted while the girls played and Madi had fun discovering the playground.
After prying Kenzie away from playing we headed home to change and refuel. We wen right back out to take a walk around the block. Makenzie wanted to ride her tricycle so I put Madi in her push car. They both loved it and had so much fun.
When we got home our next door neighbors were outside playing so we sat with them. They have a 3 year old little girl so Makenzie was so happy to continue playing. I love the momma!! I'm so glad to have them as neighbors and I see many good memories to be made with them. Madi lost her crap after awhile and we had to evacuate and head inside. I shoved dinner down them and soaked them in the bath and tucked them into bed so I could take a nice bubble bath and relax. We are all so worn out. This staying at home with the kids all day is exhausting. We were on the go ALL DAY LONG. I'm looking forward to amazing spring days where we get to do this everyday!!!
