Storage and garage clean out day

Well.....it's done!  Storage is empty and garage is full! The boys left and I cleaned out the garage! I took everything out and sorted it and rearranged it! It looked awesome!

My little side kick "helped" me, and then the guys came back....

And they brought all my stuff home!!  I had so many totes and bags and crap to go through--it was very overwhelming! I posted a bunch online and ended up selling most of it today--but there's still a lot left to go through!  It was exhausting and I definitely over did it! My back hurts so bad tonight and I can barely move!!! Oops!  I found 3 more totes that needed to be tagged for the JBF sale and separated out a bunch of stuff to save for the new baby!!

After Kenzie woke up from her nap we went down to Korie's house where Scotty was watching football with the guys!! Kenzie and Dallas had a blast playing outside!

They emptied a whole tote of blue sand out with cups! They were covered in blue sand! We decided to all go eat dinner and then we headed home to scrub we hair to get all the blue sand out!  It was a long day but I'm so glad I got all that done!! 

We also did a little decorating for fall!!  This is my favorite time of year--wish it was a little cooler!!

RIP fishie

Poor fishie didn't make it through the night.  We had a proper burial for him before Makenzie woke up and moved the bowl and she never even knew the difference.  I feel so bad...it's totally my fault. 

Bebe came over this morning and we headed out to garage sale.  It was so humid and looked like it could rain any minute and I think that's why we didn't see that many.  I did however find a car seat for the new baby.  It's just like the one Makenzie has now just in a different color and mom got some toys.  We headed home for naps but someone had other plans.

I got her all tucked into bed and then ran and jumped into my bed ready for a LONG nap, and that stinker sang, and talked and emptied her bookshelf and brought all her babies into her bed including her baby swing.  I even saw her take her puppy and hold its hands and jump on her bed.  She was quiet and was having fun so I didn't go get her, but I couldn't sleep either.  After an hour and a half I finally got her and we got ready to head to Bebe and Papa's house to visit.  She loves it there, walks around like the owns the place.  We had to leave to meet a lady to buy a walker and then headed to Plano to pick up a chair I have been looking for.  It was raining so hard, but thankfully that put Makenzie to sleep and she slept for awhile in the car.  Poor thing. I hate when she falls asleep in her car seat because her little head flops over and just hangs forward--it can't be comfortable.  At every red light I try to fix it and prop it back up but nothing ever works.  We stopped for "pur-pool" slushes on the way home by her request and then headed home to play for a little while.  I'm pooped and ready to crawl in bed.  Tomorrow we are supposed to clean out our storage building.  We as in Scotty, John and Lance but I'm sure I'll supervise. My OCD is going to kick in having all that crap in my garage but the plan is to sell it all, or most of it anyways, and then the garage is going to have to be cleaned out and flip sides so I can park on the other side.  When I have two car seats in the car I will need them to be on the passenger side and right now that's against a wall so we have to flip all the stuff from one side to the other.  I'm hoping I will get rid of a bunch of stuff in the process.  We I have entirely too much stuff.

What we've been up to

What a week!! Glad it's Friday because we are so ready for the weekend! My "sweet" girl has been a handful this week. Crying and fussy and whiney and throwing fits! 

Tuesday she started out cute and sweet!

After school I thought I would treat her to a snow cone....tantrum city the whole way! I really wanted a snow one so I got her one anyways! 

Amazingly her mood changed!  Stinker!

Wednesday was the same! Lots of crying and screaming!! Like for 45 minutes in the car--it was terrible! Bebe was coming over to make curtains for her room so we waited for her outside!

I seriously don't know how she can look so sweet when not even 2 seconds before this she was in time out for a tantrum!! She helped Bebe sew curtains!

I love them!  I need to get some cute pink tie backs! 

Thursday morning was really stressful! Lots of crying, time outs and yelling! She cried the whole way to school and the whole time I was dropping her off! I hate that! I just want to pick her back up and go home!! When I got there to pick her up she felt really warm to me! When we got home her temp was 102! I had been saying all week "I wonder if she doesn't feel good and that's why she's acting out", I should have listened!!  After some Advil she was good to go!

OMG--after she went to bed I got ready to clean Fishies bowl! I scooped him up in the net and put him in a cup of water--except he missed the cup and went in the sink into the drain! (Not the garbage disposal side, the one with an actual drain). My heart started beating so fast, I'm surprised I didn't pass out right then! I grabbed the net to try and scoop him up but it was too big to fit into the drain, so I grabbed a wad of paper towels to try and scoop him up, but I grabbed too much and couldn't get him that way either!  I grabbed a spoon and scooped and flicked him back in the net and VERY carefully put him in the cup! I slumped down on the floor to calm down and then peeked into the cup to see it he was swimming! I know I stabbed at him with the net and smashed him with paper towels! Poor fish.  Once his bowl was easy I poured him back in and kept my fingers crossed all night! He is breathing, but just kind of floats sideways at the top of the water!!

It was awful!  I hope he makes it!!

Today Scotty stayed home with her and brought her to the doctor! Guess what??? STREP freaking THROAT! Should have known! Poor girl!  I felt so bad for being "mean" to her this week!  I would get so aggravated with all the crying and I felt so bad knowing she had been so sick all along!!  I got home and took over shift change!  I gave her some Advil and we headed out to get her medicine! It was "cooler" today and no one was at the park so we stopped so she could play a little!  She was so excited. I can't wait for cooler weather so we can go more!

After the park we had a date together at Cici's!  This was the first time, ever, that I have been to a "restaurant" by myself with out another adult!  She did great, pigged out, and it was fine! 

She loved the pasta with Alfredo sauce, my favorite too!!  She was so funny! When we were done she got a napkin and put one hand behind my head and took her other hand with the napkin and wiped my face, every inch of my face, with the most serious look ever! I could hardly help from laughing! She then said "hand" so I gave her my hand and she wiped it down front and back! It was so cute!  She did this over and over until I couldn't help but laugh!  We left Cici's and headed to Walgreens to get her antibiotics! I bribed her the whole time with ice cream so I followed through and we got an ice cream sandwich on the way out! 

She loved it!  It fell apart in her hands towards the end so she open palm shoved it in her mouth. I was having a minor panic attack looking in my rear view mirror, but I handed her a wipe and she meticously cleaned get face and hands just like she had done mine at Cici's! Such a little ham!!  She was back to normal tonight! I missed my girl all week! We played and laughed and played some more! It was wonderful!  I am super sad that this is her 11th time to get strep and that she has to have her tonsils taken out next month, but hopefully that will take care of the problem!!

Just between friends!!

Its that time if year again!!!  Just between friends consignment sale!!

It is ahhh-mazing!! Me and my girlfriends load up and have a blast shopping!!  This year I have two little ones to shop for so I'm even more excited!!  You can't beat these prices and it is so much fun going through all the racks!!  The selection is huge and always seems bigger every year!

The past few weeks I have been going through Makenzie's closet and drawers pulling out "winter" clothes to consign!  It's the best way to get rid of old clothes to be able to buy new clothes! Last year I made close to $800, I couldn't believe it! Plus, when you consign you get to get in early to shop!  I'm also volunteering which gives me a higher percentage on my stuff that I'm selling and I get even more perks with earlier shopping! I love it!!

I have SO much stuff to take this year!  I have it all hung and tagged and sorted by size--ready to go!!!

The sale is October 3-6 at the Mesquite Rodeo Exhibit Hall!! 

20 Weeks

How Far Along: 20 weeks 1 days

Size of baby: Baby is the size of a artichoke.  About 10 inches long and about 10 ounces.

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 6 pounds  

Maternity Clothes: Maternity shirts and bottoms.  I like full panel shorts better than just the elastic waist.  So much more comfortable.  I have started wearing maternity shirts to work instead of scrub tops.

Gender: GIRL....we were so wrong.  I really was convinced that we were going to have a boy, but we are so excited to be having a little girl!!

Movement: Lots of kicking--I love it

Sleep: I have been sleeping so good.  I'm able to fall asleep very easily and stay asleep all night!!

What I miss:  Being able to bend over with ease.  It's getting harder and harder to bend over which makes picking up Makenzie's little toys off the floor harder....so I mostly just leave them!! LOL

Cravings: This week I have craved salads a lot.  I even had Scotty bring home salads twice this week for dinner.  And of course....still Mexican!

Best Moment This Week: Finding out we are having a girl!!!

We're having a......

Girl!!!  We are so excited to be having another little girl!  Korie and Shannon put together an amazing gender reveal for us!

We had our friends and family over and they helped celebrate us finding out the gender of our baby!!!  Scotty cooked out fajitas and the girls made dips and cupcakes! It was wonderful! We went outside for big reveal!  I tried to get Kenzie involved and put her behind the box between us, but she was shy and the sun was in her eyes--I don't think she had any idea what was going on!! Scotty and I both saw pink at the same time and were super excited!  I'll be honest---I was really expecting to see blue balloons but very excited to have 2 little princesses!!  

After the reveal, as we were posing for pictures, we were attacked by a giant flying bug! It was awful! I screamed and ran and Scotty tried to fight it away! Everyone got a good laugh! I don't know what it is with me and bugs lately!!

Once the party cleared out a little, Shannon and Korie got my stuff down out of the attic! Do I have the best friends or what?? So now I can decorate for fall and I got my baby stuff down too!! 

Once we got everything cleaned up, I went to pull my car back in(I had to move it out to get in attic) I saw the grasshopper again that was lost the day before! SERIOUSLY. Scotty had left to go grab dinner so I was left alone and I was not going to lose this thing again!  I backed my car out and opened all the doors and got a shoe!  I beat at him and had to find him a couple times and finally had him trapped. I got my trusty umbrella after him again, and....

Got him!!!  Hopefully this was my last run in with bugs for awhile!!!

It was a wonderful day and now it's time to plan for a baby girl!!!
