Cheer practice begins

Kenzie started cheer practice this Tuesday!  It is stressful trying to wrangle all those kids in and keep them focused!

They are more interested in the dragonflies and whining about being tired or the Pom Poms make their hands itchy!   My mom came and kept Madi so at least I didn't have her running around too!!

Yesterday Queen Madi played dress up all day!  She insists on wearing a princess dress and bow all day!!  It's really cute!!

We hung around the house playing and cleaning until cheer practice!  

Cheer practice was so stinking hot!  The girls did better!  I discovered that Kenzie cannot be in my group!  She won't listen and wants me to hold her and doesn't understand I'm coach and not mom during practice!  The minute one of the other coaches had to get on her she straitened right up!  

Today Kenzie had a photo shoot and I found a friend of a friend to babysit Madi! It was too hot to make her sit in a stroller watching!  I was super nervous but she walked in and Madi all but ran into her arms!  She played with her and sat in her lap and did amazing for her!! I have never seen her like that especially with a stranger!  Michaela was super nice and I will definitely be calling her again!!

Kenzie's birthday

I set my alarm for 6 this morning to decorate Kenzie's door with balloons for when she woke up!  Instead I was woke up at 5 by her talking to her babies in her room!  I snuck down to her room and quietly began decorating and when I heard her getting up I had to peak in and tell her to wait and I would tell her when to come out!

She was so excited and came busting through!  I had a few decorations at the table for her and of course some presents! 

I asked her if she would grab my shoes outside on the porch for me and when she went out her face was priceless when she saw the swing set!

We came inside and opened her presents and then Sarah and the kids came over to say goodbye!  They left for Virgina today and I'm so sad!  It hasn't sunk in totally that they are gone but our tearful goodbye broke my heart!

They got Makenzie an Elsa wig and shoes and a Frozen play doh set!  She loved it and Madison loved the wig too!

After they left we needed to change the mood around our house so we headed to the pool!  It was miserably hot and totally drained us!  Madison met a new friend though and I met a new mommy so it was a successful trip!

We came home and Madi took an extra long nap while the rest of us got ready to take Makenzie for a birthday surprise!  We dropped Madison, or should I say Princess Madi, off with Bebe on the way! She wouldn't take off her dress and insisted on a necklace and picked her own bow!

Kenzie was so excited when she found out we were going to the circus!  We got there right when it opened and went down on the stage and got to see lots of cool acts and meet clowns!  Last time Kenzie was terrified of the clowns, but not this time!

I was nervous about our seats because I went the cheap route, but they turned out great!  Kenzie was able to stand in her seat because there wasn't anyone behind us and we had a great view!

She giggled and laughed the whole time! I'm so glad we got to have this one on one time with her on her birthday!

Four

How in the world is my itty bitty baby 4 now!  When you hear people say how fast it goes, they mean it!  It seems like yesterday I had her!  

She looks so grown up in her 4 year old pictures!  She's lost all the baby look about her!  Makenzie is so full of life and brings so much joy to everyone around her!  She is so funny and is constantly saying things that crack me up!  Today I asked her what she was doing and she said "I'm doing awesome, that's what I'm doing", so matter of factory too!

She is very sensitive!  She hates seeing anyone sad or get their feelings hurt!  I love this about her!  She is my cuddler.  She always asks to be held or to sit in my lap!  She wasn't always like this so I am soaking it up!  Kenzie makes friends wherever she goes!  She will jump right in and ask to play or just join in with kids wherever we are!  Sharing has come easily to her and for the most part she is amazing at sharing with her friends!  Now sharing with her sister is another story!  I love this sweet and spunky girl so much!!

Monday....

And that's exactly what happened!  I missed a Monday!  My day was booked so I saved my workout for when Scotty got off at 8.  Except he didn't get off at 8 he had to stay until 10 which meant I went to bed!  His job provides for us and makes him happy and for that I am thankful, but what I wouldn't do to have him home at regular hours!  My morning started off early with backyard plans for Kenzie's birthday!  I had to keep her occupied and the blinds shut all day!  A little sneak peak.....

She is going to be so excited!  Kenzie and I got Madi up but jumping in bed with her!

Kenzie thinks this is the funniest thing ever and Madison doesn't know what to think!  She kept looking back and forth between us!  We played around and then finally got up and moving!  Kenzie changed Madi's diaper for me!  It's amazing!  Madison lays perfectly still grinning at her big sister and Kenzie thinks she is something else changing her diaper!

She did a really good job too!  Next up was gymnastics!  This was Kylie's last class before they move! <tear>

Madi loves her "bubba" and spent most of the class kissing his cheek! 

Kenzie is working so hard on getting her cartwheel!  We got home and all she wanted to do was practice some more!  Madi didn't want to take a nap in her bed and was doing the pitiful cry so I let her lay with Kenzie and I!  Not 5 minutes later....

Sweet girls!  When they got up we headed to meet some friends at the pool!  We hit a big milestone today!  Kenzie didn't wear her floaties in the big pool and discovered she could swim without them AND could touch the bottom of the pool too!!

Madison swam in her floatie and did really good!  It's so nice to not have to constantly be worried if she is on the step when I'm trying to play with Kenzie!  By the end of our swimming she was jumping of the step herself and kicking her little feet!

Madison did get mad at me when I told her it was time to go home!!

Friday morning the girls and I ran some errands after my training session! Afterwards we went over to Jessica's house to hang out for awhile!

Poor baby Deegan!  Kenzie would let go of him and he would just flip forward on his face!  We had a long talk about it and she says she doesn't get it because her baby sister holds herself up and she's a baby too!  We loaded everyone up and went to McDonalds for lunch and let them play for awhile!  Sarah met us up there too!

Next up was naps and then I took the girls to the pool for awhile!  A little girl at the pool was being so ugly to Kenzie!  She didn't want to share and would stick her tongue out at her and shake her head!  Kenzie stayed her sweet self and never was ugly back and after awhile they were playing together and sharing and I was so proud of her for being her normal sweet self!!

Bebe came over and we went to dinner and did some shopping!  She was very surprised I gave Madi an ice cream cone because of how messy she thought it would be!  She tried her hardest to keep her drips under control until Madi face planted on her shirt with a mouthful of ice cream!

It was so funny!  Kenzie was cracking up!

Saturday morning Kenzie and I had cheer camp and then we came home and had popcorn in bed with Bebe before she left!

My friend Datha invited us over to play on their water slide so we headed down there for awhile!

Madi had a squirt gun but she held it backwards and kept squirting herself in the face and would get so mad!

I couldn't quit laughing!

Kenzie and Joliegh play so good together and Hudson and Madi are going to be buddies too!  We left there and headed strait to the pool to meet some other friends!

No nap for Madi today had her all kinds of grumpy!  I kept shoving snacks down her to keep her happy but it was a struggle!

It was a long busy day today in the sun and the girls and I were worn out!  We left the pool and I ran home to grab my wallet and in the 3 minute drive home both girls were passed out asleep!  I went and got us dinner and of course had to stop for the normal bag of ice and water!!    We ended the night with baths and milk in my bed watching cartoons!!
